Bai Tu Long Bay is located in the east of Halong Bay. Although it is less known among tourists, the bay has many of the same natural characteristics as Halong Bay, such as karst mountains and beautiful beaches.

The Bay is home to two habitats that support a wide variety of life forms: the marine and coastal environment, the tropical, wet and evergreen ecosystem. It is the most peaceful of the three, emanating latent beauty in every sight.

Many tourists are interested in visiting this place after learning that it is significantly less congested than Halong Bay. Have you thought of seeing it?

The AsiaTourAdvisor will cover a list of the best Bai Tu Long Bay cruises, guiding you to make a memorable trip for yourself and your beloved people.

Overview Of The Bai Tu Long Bay Cruise

The bay comprises several islands in Van Don and Cam Pha Districts. It is one of Vietnam's most important and fascinating locations, with 3,000 rocky, sky-crapping islands and white sand beaches.

It has remained pristine, with fewer visitors and boats operating throughout the day and night. The scenery is just as stunning as in Halong Bay, and many locations remain undiscovered.

The bay has retained wildlife and a deep relationship with the residents, their culture, and likelihoods. As a result, travelers seeking an undisturbed experience might choose this bay as an exquisite alternative to the famous Halong Bay.

The section below provides an overview of what you need to know before coming to this wonder.

Weather

Sunset

Sunset

This bay's tropical environment has separated its weather into two different seasons: hot and humid summer and chilly and dry winter. The typical temperature is between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius.

Summer is always the bay's peak season due to its weather. If you visit this place in the summer, you may participate in various exciting sports, such as swimming and kayaking.

Nonetheless, winter is a beautiful season to visit if you want to escape the tourist crowd. Nevertheless, you may appreciate this splendid bay's fantastic and breathtaking landscape in both seasons.

Origin Of The Name

View from above

View from above

It has the same mythology as Halong Bay. Once upon a time, to safeguard ancient Vietnam's frontier from invaders, God sent down mother and child dragons to aid the Vietnamese people in their struggle.

When the enemy's boats reached the beach, the dragons sprayed thousands of pearls, which changed into thousands of limestones and formed a sturdy wall that barred the invaders' path. The dragons chose to remain after the triumph since they had fallen in love with the stunning scenery and kind Vietnamese people.

Halong Bay is where the mother dragon landed, and Bai Tu Long Bay is where the juvenile dragons came down. The white foam layers created by the dragons' tails striking the ocean produced white sand beaches near the bay.

Scenery And Activities

 Scenery

Scenery

When visiting it, you can explore various entertaining sites, including the Cong Do region, Da Xep Park, Vung Vieng village, Tra Gioi beach, Thien Canh Son cave, and the Cong Dam area.

Furthermore, the biggest, most developed, and most inhabited islands are Ngoc Vung, Quan Lan, Cong Dong, and Cong Tay, where you may rest on their lovely beaches.

The national park is a particular attraction. This location is highly worth viewing since it is home to many endangered birds, animals, and plants.

Kayaking is one of the finest ways to spend your time in the bay. It is an excellent approach to getting a close look at the lovely colorful islands and learning about the lives of the people in the floating hamlet.

Aside from traveling by boat, you may also ride a bicycle through the island’s deep woods. The magnificent beaches around the bay are unquestionably ideal for those fascinated with swimming and surfing.

How To Get There

The nearest airport is Noi Bai International Airport, approximately 40 kilometers from Hanoi. You can get to the bay from there by bus or automobile.

A new indulgent approach is to take a helicopter from Noi Bai to the bay. If you booked a cruise, all companies would provide shuttle service, free or at an extra cost.

You may choose from various buses if you want a private transfer from Hanoi. The ticket price ranges between 120,000 and 220,000 Vietnam dong. The bus ride lasts around 4 hours and 20 minutes.

When To Visit

Vietnam's dry season

Vietnam's dry season

You may visit the bay all year. However, remember that you may not see blue skies on the bay in February and March.

From May until September, the rainy season begins. Please check the weather prediction since the typhoon season in Vietnam begins in June and lasts until September.

The peak season for sailing the bay is from December 20th to January 3rd. Because of the high season, several cruises will charge an additional 25% during this time.

In general, the best time to visit this place is between October and April, which is Vietnam's dry season.

How Long To Spend In The Bay

Spectacular sunset

Spectacular sunset

  • Two-day and one-night cruise

If you have a little time, a two-day, one-night vacation departing from Hanoi is fine. You will view the bay's attractions, such as visiting Vung Vieng floating hamlet aboard a sampan and exploring Thien Canh Son cave.

  • Three-day and two-night tours

I propose doing a three-day, two-night vacation with plenty of great things like kayaking, swimming, culinary classes, squid fishing, and so on to explore the scenery it offers!

On the second day, the boat will transport you farther into the bay to visit Cap La and Cong Do islands, as well as to go kayaking among limestone islands and to bathe in crystal clear water beaches.

On the voyage, you may also have the opportunity to meet new acquaintances who have just begun their journey.

It was the best experience of our Vietnam holiday. We will never forget the crew's generosity and humility.

The rooms were comfortable and beautiful, with large picture windows and a nice bathroom. We had a jacuzzi for two with windows that we could open and sat there resting while taking in the sights.

They offered a delicious meal when we arrived. The cuisine on board was fantastic. They were extra careful of our meals since we are strict vegetarians. The only slight criticism was that the supper was so filling that I didn't eat it all. It was a waste to throw away the leftovers!

Despite the scheduled events, I always felt free to take part. I was content to relax in my cabin or on the sun deck, and I did appreciate the heated pool on the top deck.

I also had a hot stone massage while on the boat, which was fantastic. The masseuse understood just where I needed to focus.

The outings were enjoyable. The bay boasts unexpectedly gorgeous and magnificent scenery.

The floating fishing village gave us a glimpse into life in a beautiful setting. The fishing village residents' lives are valued for history and culture.

I enjoyed standing in the bow of the tender, the wind in my face as we glided through the karsts. Fortunately, the weather was pleasant. We had a lovely morning, a predominantly bright sky, and mild temperatures

We had a barbecue lunch on the beach before kayaking through the limestone. What a fantastic experience!

#2. Emperor Cruise

Emperor Cruise

Emperor Cruise

Highlight Facilities

  • Full Side Ocean View

  • Non-Smoking

  • Shower and Jacuzzi

  • Queen Size Beds

Price: from $400 per person

Reviews

We selected Emperor Cruises because we preferred a historic vessel rather than a contemporary cruise ship. The ship's interior decor did not appeal to me upon arrival.

However, the sheer amount of artwork on exhibit made the ship seem like an art museum. Furthermore, the royal cruise only offered ten en-suite rooms with ocean views and private balconies.

When we sat on the bed and admired the gorgeous and miraculous scenes of the bay, the window passed like a live television. It was very incredible!

The main drawback was the inadequate drainage system. The water did not drain effectively in the shower. The restroom also had a strong sewage odor that they couldn't eliminate. It made the jacuzzi bath unappealing.

However, the staff was kind, courteous, and accommodating. Throughout the trip, the staff was very attentive to our needs.

Staff was available to answer any queries about the ship's amenities or the sights we visited along the route. They were polite and well-dressed.

The a la carte supper became too much for the visitors. The quality and presentation of the food, on the other hand, were outstanding.

Before dinner, we sipped on perfectly made martinis. After supper, it was an excellent time to unwind on the terrace under the stars.

I caught a giant squid late at night, and the staff was kind enough to prepare dinner for me. That made me delighted.

The program was well-paced and gave me a taste of local adventure and culture. It was also a historical and artistic cruise where you could learn about the history of Vietnam.

Unfortunately, the weather during our vacation was chilly and wet. As a result, the warm beverages and towels that they offered when we returned from each activity were quite comforting.

During the kayaking, they even gave me water and a raincoat. My friend was nervous about kayaking, so a staff member rowed in the same boat to reassure her.

I loved kayaking beneath caves because it helped me reach the peaceful mentality I needed. I understood that the world had slowed down and could now enjoy the stillness and tranquility.

What a breathtaking experience from beginning to end!

We decided to spend a little more on a unique cruise to truly indulge ourselves after our vacation after trekking for many months. It did not let me down!

The senior suite was fantastic with a TV, tea/coffee maker, room slippers, bathrobe, hair dryer, refrigerator, safe, air conditioner, and other amenities. The comfy double bed can comfortably accommodate two persons.

This large, airy room was great for relaxing and admiring the scenery in your leisure time. The jacuzzi and balcony were the room's highlights.

The only problem was that our jacuzzi didn't function, so we had to shower standing up. I was a little disappointed, but everything else was in terrific shape.

The staff was kind, but only the managers spoke English. He was hard-working the whole time and made us feel terrific.

They gave us two complimentary water bottles in the hotel. We had unlimited tea and coffee in the restaurant throughout the voyage.

They could adjust the ingredients of the dishes to your needs if you had any dietary restrictions. My friend, who was a vegetarian, had requested no meat or fish dishes.

The staff ensured he had decent vegetarian meals and cooked him special veg spaghetti for supper. You will also get these dishes if you notify the cruise office of your dietary preferences at the time of booking and payment. Yet, Vietnamese cuisine is fantastic, and we wish to eat it when visiting this nation.

Our schedule included orientation and lunch. Later, we went on a fishing village excursion, ferried in wooden bamboo boats.

Kayaking was also an option for those who wanted to row themselves during the fishing village excursion. Later in the afternoon and early evening, there was a culinary class demonstration in which they demonstrated and taught me how to produce native Vietnamese delicacies.

We missed this class to watch the sunset from our balcony. We had supper after that, and then we went squid fishing.

The following day, we had an early breakfast before heading to a cave and a neighboring beach on a tiny island. We were able to kayak and discover secret beaches and caverns.

We went to the cave early in the morning, finished our discovery before the crowds arrived so that we could appreciate the views within the cave and the view from the top of the hill.

This route took us to Bai Tu Long rather than Ha Long. As a result, other cruises, tourists, or kayaks did not overwhelm me!

It was a more peaceful area of the stunning world heritage site.

It was a well-planned schedule, but I was rather tired since I had to wake up early. As a result, I suggest doing the 3 Day 2 Night itinerary.

The Victory Star Cruise was unquestionably one of the highlights of my vacation. The two-day, one-night excursion was quite enjoyable and peaceful.

The tour guide was knowledgeable. Despite his lack of English fluency, he cracked jokes and contributed to the cruise's mood.

The meals were fantastic, as I ate my share of them all. The bartenders also did an excellent job with the cocktails.

I had a great time on the trip. Tai Chi on the top deck was delightful and scenic.

The view was spectacular when I sat on the top deck at sunrise. The clouds were perfectly in addition to the hill and issued that charm.

Our activities included kayaking, hiking, and visiting the Sung Sot Cave. We had a fantastic day kayaking around one of the fishing settlements.

The guide led the kayak journey across the bay. It was the highlight of our vacation and highly unforgettable.

Despite the cold and gloomy weather, the cruise was terrific. Dinner in a candlelight cave was an outstanding highlight of the vacation.

I suggest spending at least one night onboard to appreciate the beautiful World Heritage Listed surroundings.

This company upgraded my room from a Junior to a Senior Suite, which was quite convenient. It was owing to the low number of passengers, probably due to the Corona Virus epidemic in China.

The rooms were clean and well-designed. Wifi was spotty, but with such a stunning view, you won't notice. Another disadvantage of this balcony was the exhaust fumes rising from below.

Furthermore, although the balcony was private, it only took up half of the deck. Another cabin took up the other half of the space.

The area was divided by a wooden lattice. Fortunately, since our neighbors seldom came out, we had the deck almost entirely to ourselves.

The staff was amiable and made my vacation a great one. Aside from that, the boat only accommodated roughly 20 individuals, making my experience more intimate.

Some persons with strict vegetarian eating habits and an Indian palate had difficulties with Vietnamese food. However, the staff tried their utmost to meet the requirements of those people.

The vacation was very active, with back-to-back activities till dusk. Honestly, we didn't have enough time to rest in my room.

We began with lunch before rapidly preparing for the cave excursion and Ti Top Island visit. The beach at Ti Top Island was crowded with hundreds of visitors crammed into a tiny area.

We didn't even get into the water! I enjoyed playing beach volleyball with other people, which was enjoyable.

The excursion to Vung Vieng fishing village was stunning, with the women rowing around one of the islands. When we returned to the boat, there was a Vietnamese cookery lesson, which my wife loved.

This tour was the pinnacle of my Vietnam adventure. This genuinely soothed me before returning home for hectic days in the city.

Athena Luxury Cruises is necessary if you're considering visiting Bai Tu Long bay. They provide a shuttle service and offer a refreshing drink in the dining area after you board.

We stayed in the Terrace room, which was beautiful. Right towards the rear of the boat, with plenty of space and privacy you need.

We enjoyed Vietnamese cuisine and service on board. I enjoyed the culinary demonstration since the chef was entertaining and skillful.

My brother is allergic to peanuts. As a result, they made it a point to notify us that no dishes would include peanuts.

I was delighted with the crew's service on our voyage. They offered their aid in providing us with information on Halong Bay.

They even went out of their way to provide us with wonderful sunset photographs when that day was overcast and the sun did not appear. As a result, I took advantage of all the activities on board, including Tai Chi, cookery demonstrations, and squid fishing.

We rode in a kayak around the fishing town, which was a fantastic experience. The location was breathtakingly magnificent, unlike anything I had ever seen.

Reviews

We picked this 3-day/2-night trip to see the bay, which was less busy, and we can affirm that it is quite worth it! There were just a few boats and breathtaking scenery.

Our stateroom was pretty pleasant, and the boat was big. The room was excellent, with a wide window and a jacuzzi tub.

I was glad that there were enough safety precautions needed in the case of an emergency.

The only drawback is the strong smell of diesel exhaust near the stern of the boat. It blew back into the public spaces, especially on the lower decks.

Every detail was meticulously handled from the time of hotel pickup until the time of drop-off. The itinerary was jam-packed with events, with just a few breaks to rest, wash, and change clothes.

The captain personally conducted Tai chi in the mornings. The nights were calm, with no loud music.

The cruise was both restful and revitalizing. We enjoyed the serenity and tranquility of the sea and the stunning limestone karsts that protruded from the ocean in every direction we looked.

We also had a great day kayaking to the fishing town and trekking to the cave. The sunset was very stunning.

I felt like I was on the Titanic! It was time to get away from the crowds and appreciate the beauty of nature.

We wanted to book with a less expensive cruise line. Fortunately, we chose Ancora based on the included daily activities and service evaluations.

We took the three-day and two-night cruise. The staff picked us up in Hanoi for the two-hour trip by a clean, professional, comfortable bus. We arrived on schedule and were swiftly transferred to the ship in a small transport boat.

We reserved a suite with a tub and shower, which was quite large and clean. The deck of our room was fantastic.

The service was excellent. Every day, we went on a 1 to 3-hour day tour of caverns and islands, accompanied by our cruise guide.

The food on our cruise was fantastic. The only drawback was that I must pay for any coffee or tea I consumed throughout my meals.

Halong Bay is a stunning location to visit. We felt very calm, lovely, and romantic while watching the sunset and daybreak.

The first day's itinerary included a visit to a cave. It was pretty busy, although you may avoid it if you wish.

I also hiked up the Ti Top island peak, which offers a spectacular perspective of the bay. On the second day, I kayaked inside a little cave.

The trips to the caves and the floating fishing hamlet were incredible. We had a fantastic time since the Ancora cruise made our stay memorable.

If your dates are flexible, schedule with the opportunity to cancel or reschedule if weather conditions are unpleasant. We could cancel and re-book our stay for 24 hours, saving us an entire wet day on the bay and allowing us to enjoy two full days of bright skies and sun instead of rain and fog.

The cruise aboard the Dragon Pearl Junk was a fantastic experience. We purchased the two-day, one-night excursion, which was the highlight of our vacation to North Vietnam.

The boat was stunning, and the amenities were great and quite comfy. The accommodations were modest but adequate for taking in this natural splendor.

The manager and his employees were kind, helpful, and fun. We even performed karaoke with them.

With so many delicious seafood dishes, the meal was ample and delectable. We then had a culinary demonstration in which the chef, who was young but highly talented, demonstrated how to create spring rolls. It was a lot of fun.

They had free water and attempted to reduce their single-use plastic usage. They provided us with breakfast, morning tea, and afternoon tea.

We traveled to a remote island to view a cave, which allowed us to enjoy kayaking and swimming. After a scorching day, it is refreshing when swimming in the water.

We were fortunate with the weather. We also enjoyed a fantastic seven-course barbecue meal on a beautiful beach.

My favorite thing was the floating fishing town in a safe and supervised environment. Our tour guide told us a lot of history along the way.

It was a fantastic opportunity to witness how people live and harvest pearls from oysters. I went to the farms to buy pearl jewelry.

The scenery was beautiful, and we enjoyed our trip. The karsts are incredible!

We felt like we had the whole region to ourselves in the bay. I was happy for the opportunity to enter this lovely place.

My favorite parts were the nights, and the delicious meals served on the veranda under the sky. The experience exceeded our expectations in every way.

My friends and I rented this boat. Because it only had four staterooms, we had the whole boat for ourselves!

We enjoyed many value-for-money services from the minute we boarded the boat. The meals were great, and the staff was attentive to my dietary requirements.

The staff greeted us with a welcoming drink upon our arrival. The staff then offered me a glass bottle of water, which I may refill at the bar.

We kayaked numerous times and enjoyed a barbeque meal on the beach one day. A visit to a fishing village was equally worthwhile.

The fact that they have exclusive rights to the bay was the most excellent feature of their firm. During our trip, we only saw six other boats from their firm.

Several things kept me both occupied and comfortable. We went to a fishing town, which was great, and the scenery was beautiful!

We went kayaking, saw some fantastic caverns, and had a beach BBQ. I saw the loveliest sunrises and sunsets in Vietnam and had romantic meals beneath the skies.

The cruise was both beautiful and relaxing. It was an ideal cruise if you wanted a calm and relaxing vacation.

Interesting Bai Tu Long Bay activities on cruise trips

Night Squid fishing

This is one of the, if not the most interesting activities on a Bai Tu Long Bay cruise. This activity is mostly offered by overnight cruises as it is an activity that is best done after dinner. The staff on the cruise often render assistance to passengers so they can explore fishing for squids.

They are given tools and equipment like fishing bait, rods, as well as lights to aid them do the fishing properly. There is actually an appropriate or most effective period for squid fishing at Bai Tu Long Bay, which is usually from April to August.

One of the most exciting activities that also draws you much closer to nature on a Bai Tu Long trip is Kayaking. This activity might sound rare but is not rare at all when it comes to Bai Tu Long cruise bay. Depending on your cruise package you might have to engage in an early morning Martial Art fitness program. This comes off as a pure strict fitness programme to keep passengers in physical and psychological fitness and shape.

Taking a cooking class for foreigners

As a foreign tourist on a Bai Tu Long Bay cruise, you can take a cooking class. This class intends to teach most, if not all about cooking Vietnamese local dishes. Build on your culinary skills as you experience the most thrilling moments in learning how to cook.

The greatest part of all this is that as a foreign tourist, you’re not just fed with quality Vietnamese foods, but also getting your way around cooking them as and when you desire. Here are some standout activities I've done:

Kayaking In Vung Vieng Fishing Village

Floating fishing village

Floating fishing village

Kayaks are thin and tiny boats that can only hold 1-2 persons. The ship is made of composite plastic and rubber and comes with two oars.

If you want to kayak and observe the tranquil waves, the Vung Vieng fishing hamlet is the best place in HaLong Bay because it has clean air and a beautiful natural landscape.

Vung Vieng fishing hamlet is relatively modest, with floating cottages. It is a site for cultivating sea pearls and sea fishes such as cobia, grouper, and sea bass, among others.

Birds like storks and starlings would sometimes arrive and then vanish into the hills. The community house, the most extensive and magnificent raft house in the hamlet, is located in the heart of the town.

Explore Thien Canh Son Cave

Thien Canh Son Cave

Thien Canh Son Cave

Thien Canh Son's cave is a massive cavern with three main rooms. The cave's entrance is concealed behind a lush forest canopy along a cliff wall.

The formations within the cave are shaped like lotus blossoms, flowers, baby elephants, and seals. The cave's roof, in particular, was like a gleaming carpet with brilliant stalactites hanging down.

Thien Canh Son Beach is also nearby, making it a great spot to unwind after a few hours of touring.

Snorkeling At Ban Chan Beach

Beach in the bay

Beach in the bay

Snorkeling and swimming are other must-do activities at this beach. It is well-known for its crystal clear water, white sand beach, and exceptional visibility, making it ideal for snorkeling and swimming.

The rocky cliffs and green forest environs contribute to the beach's allure and make it spectacular.

Visit National Park

The National Park has been designated an ASEAN Heritage Garden. The park, surrounded by massive rocky limestone mountains, comprises 15,783 hectares and is home to approximately 500 plant species, 37 bird species, and hundreds of marine creatures such as seagulls, mussels, and abalone.

Aside from its biological variety, the park has beautiful natural landscapes, pristine beaches, old Vietnamese archeological sites, and remnants of Van Don's once-bustling commercial port.

Visitors to the park any time of year can come close to nature and learn about it due to its wildlife enrichment programs.

Tips for choosing the right Bai Tu Long Bay Cruises

Traveling as a local or international tourist can sometimes be quite hectic especially when it comes to choosing a cruise for the trip. Lately, the tourism market has been flooded with too many tours just to explore Bays, Islands etc. When deciding on the cruise to go for regarding your trip, you want to fall on the following tips for guidance:

Schedules and Activities of the Cruise

When you think of booking a cruise for your tour, first look at the activities scheduled for that particular cruise and compare it to your outlined activities or better still, things you will really like to do or see on your journey. This will readily help you determine whether or not the cruise you are choosing to book will be most appropriate for your tour.

Having prior knowledge about the activities such as exploring caves, fishing villages, islands, kayaking etc will definitely aid you to prepare the right items for your trip.

Consider the Cruise capacity

There are actually two types of cruise, consisting of the big cruise and the small one. The small has a maximum capacity of about 15 to 25 people while the big one has an approximate capacity of 30 to 40 people.

Usually, people who like to mingle a lot, socialize and make new friends opt for a big cruise while those who prefer a more quiet and reserved space go for the small cruise. It won’t be out of place to point out however that, the number of passengers on the cruise usually determines the quality of the trip, as it is very tedious for example to serve an overcrowded boat due to the fact that the staff members on the boat will not be able to serve many people at the same time during meals.

Again, enjoying the scenery while on the cruise might be somehow boring and quite noisy as there would be so much interruptions and noise making the bunch of people on the boat.

The Room and Equipment on Cruise

There are certain standards and criteria that cannot be overlooked when choosing a cruise as a tourist. They include comfort as well as convenience. To really enjoy the cruise, you might need to go for one which has rooms with balconies that you relax on to enjoy the beautiful sceneries as you cruise along.

The bigger the cruise, the fewer the rooms however, bigger and with bigger balconies coupled with areas such as bars, dining areas, lounges etc.

The Activities on the Cruise

When you put aside all the comfort and convenience of the passenger on board the cruise, there is another very important area to take into consideration. This includes the activities scheduled on the cruise. Examples may include a scheduled Martial Art practice for all passengers, cinema time on board the cruise, scheduled cooking classes so that both local and foreign passengers can experience and also learn to advance on their Vietnamese culinary skills.

As a tourist, you have to put all these into account before making any move to book a cruise for your trip. This will aid you the tourist to get the level of quality you paid for as you get value for money.

The quality of service on the cruise

Finding out what kind of quality rendered on a cruise is nothing so difficult nowadays, as there is information up for grabs from friends, families who have been on the cruise before, and even get more information online.

There could also be some extra luxury services like massages, saunas, etc. Although most of the time, the quality of services rendered on a boat is dependent on the staff on board, you must also always make sure to check and take note of the differences in prices of the cruises as you might see a low cost one but wouldn’t include most of the services you might need.

Why should you choose Asiatouradvisor’s Bai Tu Long Bay Cruise?

There are some real reasons why choosing Asiatoradvisor’s Lan Ha Bay cruise is the best thing to do. Some of these reasons include:

Affordability without compromise on quality

FAQs

What is the cost of the Bai Tu Long Cruise?

The price of a cruise varies according to the boat type, cabin class, and travel dates. You need to contact an expert to receive precise pricing for your cruise trip.

Is Bai Tu Long Better than Halong Bay?

It is undoubtedly a question of preference, depending on your desire. Halong Bay's splendor is in peril as more international and local visitors rush to its overcrowded islands and canals.

On the other side, the bay is as gorgeous and thrilling as Ha Long Bay but noticeably less dirty and congested. Bai Tu Long has massive limestone karsts protruding out of the peaceful green seas.

Because fewer visitors are at the bay, guests enjoy the stunning impression of being someplace unexplored and pure.

What is the cancellation policy due to bad weather in the bay?

If the Halong Bay Management Board declares a cancellation, we will implement the following procedures, depending on the time of the cancellation:

You will get a full refund if you have yet to utilize any services before you depart from Hanoi to Halong Bay.

Pay for services needed throughout the trip, such as the shuttle, lunch, and accommodation in Halong. Get a refund for the remainder.

If the trip is shortened from two to one night, you will be charged for a two-day, one-night trip and any additional services utilized. Get a refund for the remainder. Your consultant will send you an email with the final price.

How to choose the best cruise?

  • Duration

The most common junk boat trip lengths are three days and two nights or two days and one night. If you pick the 2-day cruise and depart at 11:30 a.m. on the second day, you will be on board for 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the three-day excursion includes:

  • A half-day on the first day.

  • A full day on the second day.

  • Another half-day on the final day.

If you have the time and money, a 3-day/2-night trip is preferable since it allows you to settle down and enjoy yourself more.

  • Route

There are various itineraries when choosing a good boat cruise. The primary locations are Halong Bay, Lan Ha Bay, and Bai Tu Long Bay.

Cruises visit just one of three locations, while some claim to see all three. In reality, the boat only visits one region, and you only get a glimpse of the others.

  • Budget

There are hundreds of boats to choose from in Halong Bay, so you should be able to choose one that fits within your budget. You can easily select the most incredible cruise quality by comparing the trip's various price points.

A reasonable price is proportionate to the degree of quality provided. Most travelers pick a ship with at least a 3-star rating to ensure a high-quality overnight cruise.

Aside from the aforementioned typical pricing points, Halong Bay boasts a plethora of unique, beautiful 5-star cruises at jaw-dropping costs.

How many days do you need in the bay?

There are many locations to see there. So, it may take 3 to 4 days to see them all.

Conclusion

Bai Tu Long Bay is unquestionably more magnificent and wild than Halong Bay. As a result, AsiaTourAdvisor provides the best cruises.
