You do a Essence of Myanmar Culture version of this tour which I’m glad I didn’t do as this tour was nearly the perfect amount of time everywhere and I certainly wouldn’t have wanted to skip any of the road transferring or the boat excursion. A really good mix of included activities and free time as well.Bagan was amazing. My favorite place so far. I could have spent another day or two there just enjoying the city. The hotel was great and perfectly located for good restaurants. The stupas are incredible, I was blown away. And the sunset – both in Bagan from the top of the temple and in Mandalay on the water by the wooden bridge – exceeded every expectation.
