Cultural beauty of ancient Hoi An quartier

Used to be a big port of Vietnam, which welcomed a big amount of ships from everywhere in the world to Vietnam every single days.And even when it’s not​ an important port of Vietnam anymore, the beautiful culture of Hoi An is still something that help this place get thousands of tourists every years. And therefore, a trip to this destination may be the best of Vietnam tours that you’ve ever made.

Hoi An ancient town is definitely favored by nature. Time’s gone but this ancient city still holds its Eastern oriental classic captivation as the first days being born. The first impressive point of Hoi An that the tourists can easily realize is the architecture. The city is the perfect combination of many cultures; from Eastern, there are Chinese century and Japanese in 16th and 17th while Dutch, Spanish and especially French are the representatives of the Western culture.The foreign culture and the traditional culture from the Indianized Kingdom Champa (which covered much of the current central Vietnam) makes Hoi An more charming and attractive. Hoi An is the prime land of local festivals. If you once step on Hoi An, you should not miss some great festivals in Hoi An. The most special one is the Full Moon Festival held in 14th of every lunar month – the night before the full moon. The lane will be decorated with colorful lights and lamps. Furthermore, Mid-Autumn Festival and lantern festivals are the most special and enchanting festivals of Hoi An. The ancient city is full of the cloth and paper lanterns, which creates the sparkling and romantic view.

1. Cao lau- Hoi An’s signature dish

Cao lau is a delectable dark pork broth with fat yellow noodles, slices of juicy pork, served with bean sprouts, green vegetables, slices of and crispy croutons. The noodles must be made with the water from one of the closely guarded ancient Cham wells hidden throughout Hoi An.

If there’s a word to describe this dish, it’s “amazing’!

2. White Rose Hoi An

White rose – an appetizer named for its shape when presented properly – White Rose is a type of shrimp dumpling made from translucent white dough bunched up to look like a rose.

Ingredients such as shrimp and pork are placed on top the carefully folded noodles and topped with crispy shallot. The unique dipping sauce is made of shrimp broth, hot chilies, lemon and sugar.

Softy but a little bit chewy is exactly what makes people who eat this dish the first time have to fall in love with it immediately.

3. Quang Noodle

The noodle is yellow or white in color and made from rice flour. It is mixed with shrimp, pork and vegetables, and topped with grilled rice paper and spices. This noodle dish is a complex mixture of flavors and texture. The vibrant wide yellow tumeric noodles, sesame rice crackers, roasted peanuts, fresh herbs, and flavourful. Unlike these noodle soups, Quang noodle is served with very little broth and almost like a dry noodle dish or noodle salad with the broth serving to bring all the flavors together.
