Datanla Falls

The water fall is situated in the middle of the Prenn Pass and about five kilometers from Dalat. From the Highway 20 you just turn to a small descending path for about 300 meters to a small and narrow valley where you can see a small water fall in front of you. Unlike Prenn Water Fall this Datanla Water Fall is not provided with a magnificent mountain background.

From the height of 20 meters, the cascading water falls down to the ground before disappearing again through layer after layer of marble lying scattered in a small stream. Legend has it that this was the place where fairy ladies from the heaven often gathered together for bathing. Thus this flat stream portion has been named Suoi Tien (Stream of Fairy Ladies). They are necessary between 10 and 15 minutes to walk across the waterfall, but the ride is worth.
