Hanoi – Ninh Binh Countryside Day Excursion

Following a hearty breakfast at your hotel, you're in for a picturesque journey to Ninh Binh, where the ancient royal capital of Vietnam, Hoa Lu, awaits your exploration.

This immersive excursion includes visits to the historic Dinh King Temple and Le King Temple, both dating back to the 10th century. These sacred sites are steeped in heroic tales from Vietnam's storied past, particularly during the Chinese Wars.

After your explorations, the journey returns you to your hotel in Hanoi, allowing you to reflect on the day's historical and natural wonders.

Hanoi - Sapa – Ma Tra – Ta Phin Villages

This morning marks the beginning of an exciting journey to the charming town of Sapa, located amidst the terraced hills and mountains of northern Vietnam. This picturesque region is renowned for its expansive green landscapes and the vibrant cultures of its hill tribe population.

Your drive to Sapa will take approximately 5 to 5.5 hours, with fellow passengers on the shared bus traveling to different destinations. As you venture into this captivating terrain, you'll encounter the indigenous communities of the H'mong and Red Dao tribes, adorned in brilliant, traditional attire that reflects their unique culture.

Upon your arrival in Sapa, you'll meet your local guide and relish a delicious lunch. Afterward, take a brief respite before embarking on a journey to Ma Tra Village, home to the Black H'mong ethnic group. In the afternoon, you'll set off on an immersive walking tour of Old Hoi An, led by your knowledgeable guide. Hoi An, once a major Asian sea port, boasts a rich tapestry of architectural influences, from Chinese shops and French colonial homes to an ancient Japanese bridge.

Stroll through the town's streets adorned with silk markets, food stalls offering local delicacies, and talented street performers. Allow the charm of Hoi An to weave its spell upon you as you explore this living museum of cultural heritage.

Hoi An Countryside Biking or Motor Riding

Bid farewell to Hoi An as you set out on a scenic journey to Hue. Along the way, you'll stop at the picturesque fishing village of Lang Co Beach and visit the Cham Museum, ascending the majestic Pass of Ocean Clouds, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.

Upon your arrival in Hue, check into your hotel and enjoy your leisure time, reflecting on the day's culinary or cultural adventures.

Hue City Visit - Fly to Saigon

Kickstart your day of exploration in Hue with a visit to the awe-inspiring Imperial Citadel, where the Nguyen Dynasty held sway from 1802 to 1945. Roam the ruins of this historic monument, which offers a captivating glimpse into the history of Vietnam's royal legacy.

From the Imperial Citadel, venture into the "Old City" and arrive at Tinh Tam Lake, a tranquil retreat where emperors once sought solace and relaxation. Continue your journey to Mu Pagoda, an elevated vantage point overlooking the Perfume River and one of the royal tombs.

At the appropriate time, you'll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). Upon your arrival at the airport in Saigon, you'll be warmly welcomed and transported directly to your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure, exploring Saigon's vibrant streets, dining on local delicacies, or relaxing in the comfort of your accommodations.

Cu Chi Tunnel & Saigon City

We'll pick you up in the morning and take you to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a major part of the Vietnam-American War and a fascinating day trip-- explore the mysterious tunnels, find hidden doors and once-deadly traps.

After lunch we'll go back to HCMC and spend the afternoon either visiting the War Remnants Museum or the Presidential Palace, whichever you prefer. Then stroll around the city's colonial streets in the evening to the Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street, Continental Hotel, Opera House and City Hall.

Saigon – Mekong Delta – Can Tho

Embark on a mesmerizing journey from Saigon to the heart of the Mekong Delta. Your adventure begins as you leave your hotel in the morning and set off for Hàm Luông Pier. Here, you'll board a boat and cruise along the picturesque Bến Tre River, immersing yourself in the vibrant activities of this bustling waterway. Witness local fishermen casting their nets, experience the age-old art of water transferring, and observe traditional brick-making, where clay is molded, printed, and baked in time-honored fashion.

As you journey along, take a glimpse into the myriad coconut processing workshops that line the canal. See how these artisans craft various coconut-based products, adding to the rich tapestry of delta life. Your boat ride then ventures into the natural scissors creeks, where the waterways gradually narrow, leading you deeper into the idyllic villages.

Your adventure continues with a leisurely walk to a family-run sleepmat workshop, offering you a chance to witness and partake in the creation of these traditional sleeping mats. Savor some fresh fruits and tea as you connect with the warm-hearted locals.

To fully immerse yourself in the local way of life, hop on a motor cart (known as "xe lôi") or cycle along the shady paths, winding your way through lush rice fields and verdant vegetable gardens. Engage with the friendly peasants and discover the rich tropical culture that thrives in this region. Your culinary journey takes a delicious turn as you enjoy lunch at the inviting Hai Hồ House.

In the afternoon, your adventure continues with a serene sampan ride along the tranquil canals, offering you a unique perspective of the delta's beauty. As the day draws to a close, you'll return by boat to Hàm Luông Pier, marking the end of your tour. From here, you'll head straight to Can Tho, where you'll spend the night.

Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City – Evening Flight to Siem Reap

Begin your day with a leisurely boat excursion, where you'll navigate the enchanting tributaries of the Lower Mekong River, specifically the Bassac River. This serene journey leads you to the vibrant Cai Răng Floating Market, one of the most animated and lively markets in the entire region. Here, you'll encounter an array of exotic fruits, vegetables, and local specialties.

Have you ever tasted the delightful Vietnamese vermicelli soup? Today, you'll not only taste it but also discover how it's expertly prepared by local chefs. Explore the surrounding village and engage with the welcoming local inhabitants. Experience the thrill of crossing a "Monkey bridge," constructed using a single bamboo stem.

Later in the day, you'll be transported directly to the airport in Can Tho for your flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival at Siem Reap Airport, you'll be greeted by your Cambodian guide, who will accompany you to your hotel. Here, you can check in and unwind as you prepare for your Cambodian adventures.

Please note that while the floating market may not be as bustling as depicted in some images due to improved road access and alternative transportation methods for traders, visiting this market remains a valuable experience. It's a chance to witness a unique way of life that may soon vanish, making it a worthwhile visit.

Siem Reap Outlying Temples

Fuel up with a delicious breakfast at your hotel before heading to the airport for a short flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, you'll be met and escorted to your first destination, the ancient Khmer civilization site of Hariharalaya. Flourishing in the late 9th and early 10th centuries, these temples are among the earliest in the Angkor area and are collectively referred to as the Rolous Group, consisting of Lo Lei, Preah Koh, and Bakhong Temples.

Indulge in a delightful lunch with a local family before venturing 35 kilometers from the Angkor area to explore the smallest yet magnificent Banteay Srei Temple. Constructed in the 10th century and dedicated to Shiva, this temple is renowned for its intricate pink sandstone structures adorned with striking sculptures, lintels, pediments, and friezes. Locals often say that this temple must have been carved by women, as the details are too finely wrought for the hands of men. On your way back to Siem Reap, visit the Banteay Samre Temple, adorned with impressive reliefs depicting scenes from Vishnu and Krishna legends.

Siem Reap's Highlighted Temples

Begin your day early with breakfast at your hotel. At 7:30 AM, set off to explore the captivating Ta Prohm Temple, an ancient structure that nature has almost completely reclaimed. The magnificent roots of trees, intertwining with the temple's stone blocks, create an otherworldly and haunting scene that will leave a lasting impression on your soul.

Continue your adventure with a visit to the intricately carved ruins of Angkor Wat, one of the world's most impressive archaeological sites. This temple, adorned with exquisite Apsara carvings, is a testament to the artistry of the Angkorian era.

Your exploration then takes you to the enigmatic Royal City of Angkor Thom, home to the iconic Bayon Temple with its 54-tower structure. At first glance, it may appear as a shapeless mass of stone, but closer inspection reveals countless serene faces gazing out from a distant and primitive era. Explore the surrounding sites, including Baphou, Elephant Terraces, Lipper King Terrace, and Royal Palace Enclosure.

Complete your Angkor temple journey with a visit to Preah Khan Temple, built in the 12th century by King Jayavarman VII. This temple bears a striking resemblance to Ta Prohm and is adorned with captivating bas-reliefs.

Departure from Siem Reap

Your remaining time in Siem Reap is yours to enjoy until your driver arrives to transport you to the airport for your homeward-bound flight. Check-out time at your accommodation is 12:00 PM, allowing you some leisure before your departure.

We hope you've cherished the unforgettable experiences, rich culture, and awe-inspiring history of Vietnam and Cambodia, leaving with cherished memories that will last a lifetime. Safe travels!
