Your comfort is our utmost priority, and during your transfer to your hotel, we'll provide you with an engaging introduction to this enchanting city. The remainder of the day is yours to settle in, relax, and soak up the local atmosphere.

Hanoi is a culinary paradise, boasting an array of exceptional dining establishments offering French, Vietnamese, and international cuisines. Don't hesitate to seek recommendations from your guide for personalized restaurant experiences.

Hanoi, Vietnam's captivating capital, is home to seven million people and exudes an air of tradition and refinement. With its French colonial architecture, tree-lined boulevards, serene lakes, and the bustling Old Quarter, the city seamlessly blends the past with the present. Take a moment to witness locals practicing Tai Chi by the tranquil lakeside, while barbers and street food vendors ply their trade on lively sidewalks.

Hanoi Sightseeing

After a satisfying breakfast at your hotel, our local tour guide will pick you up to embark on an exploration of Vietnam's capital city, Hanoi. With over a thousand years of history, this city is rich with captivating cultural and historical sites. Your itinerary includes visits to the imposing Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, home to the preserved body of "Uncle Ho." You'll also experience the delicate beauty of the One Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc Temple, and Quan Thanh Pagoda.

Following a delicious lunch, you'll venture to the Temple of Literature, a treasure trove of ancient Vietnamese relics. To cap off your day, enjoy a one-hour cyclo tour through the bustling and lively Old Quarter, immersing yourself in the vibrant marketplace atmosphere. Your day culminates with a unique water puppet show, showcasing the cultural richness of northern Vietnam.

Hanoi - Halong Bay

Our journey embarks from Hanoi at 8:0 AM, where we'll pick you up for a scenic drive through the verdant landscapes of the Red River Delta. Our destination: the world-famous UNESCO World Heritage site, Halong Bay. Here, you'll embark on a luxurious junk ship for an enchanting overnight cruise.

As you relax on board, you'll be captivated by the breathtaking limestone karsts that majestically emerge from the azure waters, surrounded by thousands of jungle-clad islands seemingly suspended on the gentle waves. The turquoise waters of the Gulf of Tonkin conceal hidden grottoes and ancient caves, creating a timeless and mesmerizing world.

Indulge in a sumptuous seafood lunch as you savor the awe-inspiring views, with a refreshing drink in hand. Our next stop will be a traditional fishing village, where resourceful locals have transformed their boats into an entire floating community. Following this, you'll have the opportunity to explore Tien Ong Cave before returning to the cruise for an evening of cocktails, canapés, and a magnificent sunset. The day culminates in a romantic candlelit dinner.

Halong Bay- Danang - Hoi An

Kickstart your day with Tai Chi on the top deck or savor the sunrise over the bay. Sip on morning coffee or tea before setting out to explore nearby islands via rowboat.

Upon returning to the junk, witness a fruit carving demonstration and participate in a cooking class, learning to create traditional Vietnamese cuisine from scratch. Enjoy a Vietnamese lunch on board as you cruise back to Halong City. Upon arrival, your driver will be waiting at the dock to take you to Noi Bai Airport for your short flight to Danang.

Upon arrival in Danang, your tour guide and driver will transfer you to your hotel in Hoi An—a destination that seamlessly blends old-world charm with pristine beaches and luxurious resorts.

Hoi An, a former prosperous port city from the 16th to 19th centuries, was a hub for trade with merchants from China, Japan, India, Indonesia, and Europe who came to purchase silk, spices, and porcelain. The UNESCO World Heritage Old Quarter of Hoi An remains beautifully preserved, with ornate pagodas, antique trading houses, and old tile-roofed shops.

Hoi An Tour - Tra Que Village

Begin your day with a leisurely breakfast at your hotel before embarking on an exciting adventure. Your local guide will lead you on a bicycle ride to Tra Que Village, located just 10 kilometers away. Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the daily activities of local farmers.

Continue your bicycle journey along the De Vong River to Hoi An Beach wharf. From there, board a boat to Cua Dai Sand Dune, where you'll enjoy a captivating casting net show and learn the art of casting a net from a local fisherman. Continue to Cam Thanh Water Coconut Village, where you'll receive a brief introduction to its history.

Embark on a basket boat adventure along the water coconut river, with fishermen teaching you how to catch crabs (two passengers per boat). Engage in a friendly competition as the group is divided into two teams for a thrilling basket boat race and crab-catching challenge, with a delightful prize awaiting the winners.

At 12:20 PM, board a boat and enjoy a folk songs show by local performers. Then, at 12:30 PM, savor special local delicacies, including pancakes, Tam Huu spring rolls, fried fish, and more. After lunch, learn to craft amusing tools from water coconut leaves.

At 2:00 PM, continue to the ancient town of Hoi An, where you'll experience the daily life of fishermen along the Thu Bon River. A walking tour of Hoi An's well-preserved ancient town center will transport you back in time to when it was a major trading port in Asia. Explore old shophouses, the 400-year-old Japanese Bridge, a Chinese communal hall, and the vibrant market. Conclude your day with free time to relax on Cua Dai Beach.

Hoi An - Danang - Ho Chi Minh City

Begin your day with a leisurely breakfast, savoring the flavors and tranquility of your Hoian surroundings. As the morning sun bathes this charming town, our team will arrive to accompany you on your journey to Danang, where you'll catch a flight to vibrant Ho Chi Minh City. Upon your arrival, we'll whisk you away to your hotel, providing you with the evening to immerse yourself in the bustling energy of Saigon.

Saigon, a city that never sleeps, presents an abundance of culinary delights and entertainment options. Whether you're enticed by the sizzle of street food vendors or the sophistication of a rooftop bar at the historic Rex Hotel, Saigon caters to all tastes. Feel free to consult your guide for personalized recommendations tailored to your interests.

Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels

In the morning, we'll pick you up for a riveting excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a poignant relic of the Vietnam-American War. Delve into the mysteries of these underground passages, uncover hidden entrances, and learn about the ingenious traps that once protected them. After a satisfying lunch, return to Ho Chi Minh City and devote your afternoon to exploring either the War Remnants Museum or the Presidential Palace, based on your preferences. As evening descends upon the city, take a leisurely stroll along colonial streets, visiting iconic landmarks such as the historic Old Saigon Post Office, the bustling Dong Khoi Street, the elegant Continental Hotel, the grand Opera House, and the majestic City Hall.

Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta - Ben Tre

Begin your day with breakfast at your hotel. Our guide will pick you up and transfer you to Ben Tre. You'll be picked up at Phong Nam Pier (Phong Nam old ferry station), where you'll embark on a boat journey along one of the tributaries of the Mekong River. As you navigate these waters, you'll witness the vibrant activities of local life, including fishing and water transportation. During your journey, you'll also stop at a brickwork site where coconut charcoal is produced and observe the coconut husking process. Here, you'll have the chance to learn about the making of coconut candies, a local specialty.

The boat will lead you to natural scissors creeks, which appear narrower as you venture deeper into the village. Take a stroll to a family that creates sleep mats and explore the tranquil village, immersing yourself in the authentic daily life and gaining insights into tropical culture. A delicious lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, enjoy a biking excursion around the village, followed by a rowing-boat ride along water palm creeks. Conclude your boat journey at Hung Vuong Pier, where a car will be waiting to transport you to Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh,
check in to your hotel and enjoy some leisure time

Ho Chi Minh Flight to Phnom Penh

Free until checking out your hotel. We will transfer to airport for the next flight to Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Upon arrival, you will be met outside the baggage claim area by your guide who will escort you to a waiting vehicle for your transfer to downtown with a brief introduction en route. Your guide will be holding a welcome signboard with the AsiaTourAdvisor Logo & your name. During the drive your guide will provide an introduction to Phnom Penh.

The riverside capital of Phnom Penh, once known as “The Pearl of Asia” and long considered the most beautiful French-built city of the Orient, is a charming and captivating city. The old French ochre-coloured colonial buildings are now being filled with trendy cafes, boutiques and art galleries and many traditional ornate temples still remain. The bustling squares and frangipani-lined boulevards create an atmosphere that is unlike any other city in South East Asia. Rich in history, Phnom Penh has a number of cultural and historical sites including the National Museum, Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, and offers an insight into its darker past with the haunting Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Museum

Phnom Penh Sightseeing – Siem Reap

The capital city of Phnom Penh was once considered the loveliest city of Indochina. Despite its recent turbulent history, it still maintains considerable charm. A city tour acquaints us with some major sights of Phnom Penh.

Set out on a city tour to visit the Royal Place built in 1866 by King Norodom; Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5,000 silver tiles and located within the Royal Palace compound, and visit Tuol Sleng Museum, a reminder of the Khmer Rouge regime.

Transferred (without guide) to Phnom Penh airport for your departure to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, meet the guide and transfer to hotel for check in.

Siem Reap - Exploring Outlying Temples

After indulging in a delicious breakfast at your hotel, your guide will accompany you to explore the ancient Khmer civilization site of Hariharalaya, which thrived during the late 9th and early 10th centuries. These temples are among the earliest in the Angkor area and are collectively known as the Rolous group, consisting of Lo Lei, Preah Koh, and Bakhong Temples.

Enjoy a delightful lunch with a local family before continuing your journey to the rural outskirts, approximately 35 kilometers from the Angkor area, to visit the smallest yet most magnificent temple, Banteay Srei. Constructed in the 10th century and dedicated to Shiva, this temple serves as the birthplace of Khmer classical-style architecture. It is renowned for its exquisite pink sandstone structure, adorned with striking sculptures, lintels, pediments, and friezes. Local lore even suggests that women crafted the temple due to the intricacy of the details.
As you return to Siem Reap, make a stop at Banteay Samre Temple, adorned with impressive reliefs depicting scenes from the tales of Vishnu and Krishna.

Siem Reap - Angkor Highlighted Temples

Commence your day with an early breakfast at your hotel. At 8:00 am, depart for a visit to the captivating Ta Prohm temple, an ancient structure that has become entwined with the surrounding jungle, creating an eerie and exotic ambiance. The towering tree roots, embracing massive stone blocks, evoke an unforgettable sense of wonder.

Continue your exploration with a visit to the intricately carved Khmer ruins at Angkor Wat, one of the world's most remarkable archaeological sites. The temple features exquisite Apsara carvings, showcasing Angkorian-era artistry. Your adventure unfolds as you further explore the enigmatic Royal City of Angkor Thom. The 54-tower temple, Bayon, presents a captivating sight. Initially, it may appear as a shapeless mass of stone, but closer examination reveals face after face, drawing you into a silent, enigmatic gaze from a distant era.

Explore the complex's surroundings, including Baphou, Elephant Terraces, Lipper King Terrace, and the Royal Palace Enclosure. Conclude your temple tour with a visit to Preah Khan temple, constructed in the 12th century by King Jayavarman VII, showcasing a style akin to Ta Prohm.

Siem Reap Departure

Today, you have the morning to savor at your leisure, allowing you to reflect on your incredible journey. When the time comes, your private car and driver will arrive to transfer you to the airport, where you will embark on your journey home. Your adventure has drawn to a close, but the memories and experiences you've collected will remain with you forever. Safe travels, and we hope to welcome you back soon

Asia Tour Advisor was Amazing!!!
Reviewed On: Oct 03, 2023SandraAsia Tour Advisor was Amazing!!!United States

From the moment we first started making our online enquiries with Asia Tour Advisor we felt 'looked after' and as though we were in good hands. It's actually the first time we have fully booked a holiday through a tour guide instead of doing it ourselves and it was fantastic.

Our Sales Manager Xoa was so patient and helpful with us, even though we changed our minds many times on getting the itinerary just right for us; nothing was too hard for her to do or arrange - she is amazing!!!

So with her hard work and help, she prepared the most wonderful itinerary where we spent 2 weeks working our way from the top of Vietnam in Hanoi down to Saigon before then going into Cambodia, so we could see the temples like Angkor Wat.

There were so many highlights; the Halong Bay cruise on the Peony was just beautiful, so peaceful, I really wish we had of stayed for 2 nights instead of only the one.

We also stayed in Hoi An for a couple of nights which is just out of Danang but I think next time when we go back we will stay in Danang and visit the beach area more as there are some really big and beautiful looking hotels along the shoreline.

On this occasion, though we stayed in Hoi An which was still fantastic and best of all it was in walking distance to the old town and night markets and we loved every bit of it - you must check out the 400-year old bridge in the old town and have egg coffee whilst you're there.

The rest of our trip which took us further south and into the Mekong Delta was just as great as the start and overall we got to see and do so much and learnt so much about Vietnam whilst we were there with our Tour guides, all of which were great.

Vietnam, we look forward to seeing you again.

PS: A very special mention does go to Xoa, she really did do an amazing job in looking after us, at no time during the stay did we feel as though we were left on our own or have questions unanswered. She called and touched base with us periodically to make sure everything was going ok and was especially helpful when we were stuck at Hanoi airport; THANK YOU!!!

We have used ATA twice now and we could not fault there service at all. They are very accommodating and understanding. They cater the tour around what you would like to see and do. If you don’t want to do something on any given day they are happy to make changes to suit you. We had some amazing tour guides when we were in Vietnam  they could not do enough for us. Their names were Keam and Vuthy they were very knowledgeable and took us to some amazing places that we will not forget. Our driver Bo was also awesome, he was a clean freak which made us laugh. We were also lucky enough to have the same tour guide in Hoi An that we had 2 years before which was Mr Ha Ha, he too was also amazing, he was so excited to see us again. We have seen some amazing places on our travels with ATA. We would recommend ATA to anyone that wants to travel through Asia in places that they service
