Had a great time in Yangon

It was my short and first visit to Yangon. I was travelling alone and was kind of nervous.
I found AsiaTourAdvisor through tripadvisor so I decided to contact them and told them what I wanted to see and do in 4 days. Thu replied me with lots of useful information that I even did not think about it. She helped me to organize my tours and recommended some good attractions.
Local guide showed up at the airport with his smiling face, I could see him from far away. Then I continued my trip with Mr Jon (driver). He was so friendly and helpful. He was also very careful about his driving. He stopped whenever I wanted to take pictures. He also recommended me some nice and clean Thai restaurants. As I told him that I preferred only Thai food, I was afraid to try the local food.
We started from city tour half day in Yangon. The second day we went up north to Bago, 2 hours drive. Then we ended our trip at Shawedagon Pagoda, the must see. Last day I had shopping at Aungsan or Scott Market. Make sure you bargain, I was not that good 🙂
For temple tours, you better wear flip-flop as you will have to take shoes off every single temple and walk bare feet.
Only one thing that I missed, I did not take local tourist guide as I considered myself as an independent traveler. But there are so many things and details to learn.
I would recommend AsiaTourAdvisor to all of my friends who plan to visit Myanmar.
