Hanoi, Sapa and Halong Bay

Walking in the hills of Sapa is one of the most uplifting and fulfilling things I have ever done. Scenically beautiful, it is always culturally fascinating as the ethnic minorities go about their daily lives. This tour really shocks the senses with its scenery. First Halong bay and the amazing rock formations, then Sapa and the rice terraces cut into the mountainsides. It was incredible, quite incredible. On either end of the tour was time spent in Hanoi, which in itself was really entertaining. We had terrific food through the trip, especially on the boat in Halong Bay. Our guides were wonderful and the whole thing was just so damned good.
