Magical Luang Prabang

Luang Prabang – It’s a heritage town with a French influence in the architecture and food (delicious baguettes) and a Buddhist calm. One thing I will always remember about Laos is the decorative lights making dinner overlooking the river seem like fairyland.
We spent several hours cycling down country roads, tracks and paths through villages, farms and alongside waterways, paddy fields, fish farms etc. a lovely peaceful way to see the real people,of this beautiful country going about their daily lives. Savay was funny, knowledgeable and safety focused. The area we hiked and biked through was beautiful and it was great not to run into other groups, it felt off the beaten path yet close to Luang Prabang. Warmly recommended.
