What’s your most memorable trip?

To me, that’smy Vietnam tours in 14 days, and that’s alsoan unforgettable time of my life, when every single day was a surprising present to me.

Well, I’m in love with the trips, but I had never been so far to a Southeastern asian country like Vietnam. So after my graduation, I decided to make my longest trip to a place I’ve never been to, and I chose Vietnam. My journey started from Northern Vietnam to the Southern, and it lasted approximately 14 days.

After the trip, I have to admit that for such a small country, Vietnam is definitely a tourist treasure where you can easily find a big variety of different tourist destinations from North to South.

So let me tell you some of the most special destinations of Vietnam that I arrived, ok!

1. Northwest region with gorgeous valleys and highlands

The Muong Hoa valley’s most defining feature is Hoa stream, stretching through the Tan Van, Lao Chai, and Hao Thao villages and where there are mysterious carved stones and curious graphics spread over several kilometers. Ban Pho features these carvings and stones that date back as far as 3,000 years and depict scenes captured artistically by several different regional cultures. The terraced fields and sweeping valley are picture-perfect and the most beautiful in Sapa. On route, we can see the dying and weaving arts of the Hmong tribe just across a narrow suspension bridge where panoramas show off awe-inspiring natural scenes. This route also leads through Red Zao and Zay villages where traditional life hasn’t changed for hundreds of years. This ripe farmland and valley scenery create an amazing backdrop, and along Moung Hoa Valley river hiking, create an unforgettable experience.

Attractive scenery of Muong Hoa valley

Beside Muong Hoa, there are also many other beautiful places that you can visit like Mu Cang Chai, Ham Rong, or Bac Son (if you’re interested in Bac Son, anunexploited land of Northwest region, then you can read about it right HERE),…

And the most beautiful season to discover the Northwest is Autumn, when every kinds of flowers here blossom and there’s no more rains. So it’s gonna be perfect for you to find out about the unending beauty of this land in Autumn, and for more information, you can find out HERE, where I mentioned about a while ago.

2. Ninh Binh with Mua Cave

Mua Cave is surrounded by lush rice fields and magnificent limestone mountains. A gorgeous landscape dominated with waterways, bamboo hedges, fruit trees and vegetable gardens it can bring us closer to nature.

Mua Cave has such an incredibly picturesque landscape.

Mua Cave evokes the image of an authentic Tonkin village with tile-roofed houses, green bamboo hedges, lush paddy fields and cultivated vegetable gardens. Staying here is a great way to discover the living environment of Tonkin farmers and to learn more about green and cultural tourism. Guests will not be welcomed merely as those spending the night here but treated as dear friends with whom the hosts love to share and talk.

3. Can Tho with Cai Rang Floating Market

One of the most interesting sights in the Mekong Delta, which is formed by Mekong River (a river that loads a great amount of cultural values of Vietnam and HERE is where you should go for further information about Mekong River), is the floating markets which associated river life. Among those markets, Cai Rang is the most popular. Cai Rang Floating Market is open all day but it is busiest from sunrise to about 9am. The main items sold there are farm products and specialties of Cai Rang Town, Chau Thanh District and neighboring areas. Every boat has a long upright pole at its bow on which samples of the goods for sale are hung.

An interesting morning with Cai Rang floating market

Each boat is loaded with plenty of seasonal goods. Activities at the market are also an occasion for tourists to study the cultural aspects of southerners. We can see the market in the distance, it does not look like much, just a mass of boats. The boats all display their wares on a mast so you can see what they have available.

It will absolutely be a big mistake if you ignore this interesting destination.

Now you can somehow understand why this trip is my most memorable one, right!
