Dear Giang, Thanks much for arranging a fantastic trip in Vietnam. Overall, everything was good as much as I wish. Transportation: Most of the private cars and drivers showed up at the airports and hotels when they were supposed to. The vehicles were all in good condition. There were no problems with any of the domestic flights in Vietnam. Guides: The guides were good. The most enthusiastic guide was the one who did the Hue City Tour – he was the guide to make a true effort to provide his clients with interesting background information. Food: The food in Vietnam is great. For the Hue City Tour, I think that was one of the worse lunches I had in Vietnam. We were taken back to the the tour company’s facility for a buffet lunch, and it had a lot of fried foods and perhaps not enough food for the number of people on the tour. The lunch and dinner in Hoian were excellent. Excellent restaurants, and quality of the food and ingredients were very good . The breakfasts at all the hotels ranged from good to truly excellent (Norfolk). The cruise in Halong Bay was great! I really enjoyed it, the scenery was beautiful of course. I am very glad that the shuttle stopped at the marble factory on the way to Halong Bay, those were the cleanest, nicest public bathrooms I saw during my entire trip in Vietnam. Food on board the ship was excellent. A lot of activities. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Enjoyed the cooking class, bamboo boat ride through the fishing village, and hikes. Summary: Overall, this was a great experience. I had a wonderful time with the itinerary provided. Everything promised was delivered. It was so nice to be able to travel without having to worry about hotel bills, transportation, finding guides, etc. Actually, it was very nice being able to travel without having to worry about any of the details because everything had been arranged for already. The combination of city tours and the private guide for Hoian very nicely fit my budget. The hotels were great, the Halong Bay cruise was wonderful. The itinerary was a very nice balance of tours and free time to explore. And the process of working with you was also very easy and stress free.
