Unforgettable memories with the charming Hoi An

I’m a person who loves the peaceful atmosphere, the slow life of ancient places. I really like to travel everywhere and take unique, beautiful photos. That’s why I fell in love with Hoi An right after I saw a photo of it on a tourist magazine. So I made a decision and took a Vietnam tourto travel to this wonderful destination.

Right after I was there, I was immediately overwhelmed by the unique and ancient beauty of this place: small narrow streets, all the ancient houses covered by the time. Whenever I close my eyes, I can imagine each yellow wall in the afternoon sunlight and the gates were obscured by the dark green bushes. Coming here, I can feel the time’s colour on the old yellow walls, the beautiful smile of Vietnamese women, the peace in soul,…, I can find something that I can’t hardly met in such crowded and complicated like the city I’m living in. This tourist place is pretty as a picture with ancient and quiet colors and that makes this place one of the most beautiful place for visiting in Vietnam. Moreover, when the dark is coming, Hoi An appears in the flickering light of the lanterns. That’s really interesting when enjoying a cup of coffee while looking all the people walk around the street, buy and sell on the street market. And that’s how Hoi An’s charm was made. You know, while enjoying the charming beauty of Hoi An, it feels like life rhythm more slowed, the beat as breathing of the time.

You will immediately fall in love with this place.

Beside the unique charm, Hoi An is also a source of stories, because as an old port, it witnessed most of important events of Vietnam. So don’t forget to follow your tour guide to meet up with an old, wise person here, who can tell you any stories or any great people of this place. I’m not someone who keens on history but I have to admit that those stories are as interesting as any historical stories that I’ve ever heard. For this, I think I have to thank my tour guide a lot, he translated everything to me perfectly, he knows exactly how to make things simple for understanding.

And there’s one more thing that you should never miss if you visit Hoi An, that’s going to a traditional place that makes lanterns and trying to make one for yourself. It will be a memorable thing to remind whenever you feel bored or stressful. Also, if you like the beautiful lanterns, you can buy some for a cute souvenir when coming back home.

So, I just can say that if I can get back to Vietnam, I will choose Hoi An to be one of my most important destinations, where I’ll stay for a week in order to really get to know well about this place.
