Explore the capital of Vietnam, a city with a rich history that celebrated its 1,000th anniversary in 2010. This full-day tour will take you to the city's most fascinating cultural and historic sites.

Marvel at the grand and solemn Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (viewed from outside; closed on Mondays and Fridays, and during October and November), visit the iconic One Pillar Pagoda, explore the beautiful Temple of Literature, and discover the tranquility of Tran Quoc Temple on West Lake. Additionally, visit Quan Thanh Pagoda, explore the bustling Old Quarter, and cap off your day with a captivating water puppet performance. The evening is free for leisure.

After breakfast at your hotel, embark on a journey to Ninh Binh to visit Hoa Lu, the Ancient Royal capital of Vietnam. Explore the Dinh King Temple and Le King Temple, both from the 10th century, and learn about the heroic histories of these two kings during the Chinese Wars.

Following this historical visit, enjoy a boat trip to explore either Trang An, Tam Coc, or Van Long tourist attractions before returning to your hotel in Hanoi.

We will pick you up from Hanoi at 8:00 am and drive through the lush Red River Delta to reach the renowned UNESCO World Heritage site, Halong Bay. You will board a luxurious junk ship for an enchanting overnight cruise.

As you relax on board, take in the breathtaking limestone karsts that rise majestically from the sea and the thousands of jungle-covered islands that appear to float on the water's surface. The turquoise waters of the Gulf of Tonkin envelop hidden grottoes and ancient caves, creating a timeless and enchanting world.

Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch as you savor the incredible views with a drink in hand. We will also take you to a traditional fishing village where locals have created a thriving community on their boats. You can explore Tien Ong Cave before returning to the cruise for cocktails, canapés, and a stunning sunset. Conclude your day with a romantic, candlelit dinner.

Begin your day with a tranquil Tai Chi class on deck amidst the morning mist, or simply admire the stunning scenery as the sun rises over the azure waters. Choose to spend your morning either on an excursion to a secluded island with a sandy beach for swimming or by joining the ship's chef for a cooking demonstration to delve deeper into Vietnamese cuisine.

Enjoy a leisurely brunch while your junk ship cruises through Halong Bay, passing by captivating islets and caves as you return to the dock. Your driver will be waiting for you upon disembarkation and will transfer you to Noi Bai Airport for your flight to Hue. Once you arrive in Hue, our team will pick you up and take you to your hotel.

Begin your day with a visit to the Imperial Citadel, where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled from 1802 to 1945. Explore the fascinating ruins of this historical monument and continue your journey through the 'Old City' to Tinh Tam Lake, a place where emperors used to retreat for relaxation.

In the afternoon, visit Mu Pagoda with a view of the Perfume River, and conclude your day with a visit to Khai Dinh's Tomb, a unique blend of traditional Vietnamese design and European influences that sets it apart from other tombs in Hue. The rest of the day is free for your leisure.

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, your guide will transfer you to Hoi An. On the way to Hoi An, you will stop at the picturesque fishing village of Lang Co Beach, visit the Cham Museum, and traverse the Ocean Clouds Pass to take in panoramic views of the surroundings.

Option 1 – Cooking Class:

Embark on a culinary adventure by visiting a vibrant local market in the morning to acquire fresh ingredients. Return to your cooking class, where your chef will demonstrate how to prepare typical Vietnamese cuisine. You will then have the opportunity to cook and savor your creations.

In the afternoon, explore the charming, time-capsule town of Old Hoi An on a walking tour with your guide. Hoi An, once a major Asian seaport, boasts a blend of architectural styles and cultures that have been beautifully preserved. Stroll through traditional Chinese shops, elegant French homes, and visit an ancient Japanese bridge. The town is also home to silk markets, Vietnamese food stalls, and talented street performers, all of which will captivate you.

Option 2 – Vegetable Village:

After breakfast at your hotel, embark on a bicycle ride to Tra Que Village and visit a local farm. This immersive experience provides insight into Vietnamese rural life, including the history of the village and daily practices of vegetable cultivation. Participate in farming activities such as collecting seaweed fertilizer, sowing, raking, watering, and picking. Join a local family to prepare and enjoy lunch, tasting other regional specialties like Tam Huu (spring rolls) and Banh Xeo (pancakes). After lunch, take a nap and return to the field to learn about harvesting and packaging produce. In the mid-afternoon, bid farewell to your newfound friends and return to Hoi An to explore the Old Quarter.

Option 3 – Countryside Biking or Motor Riding:

Your guide will pick you up at the hotel by motorbike, taking you to Tra Que Village. Following a visit to a local family, see how they weave sleeping mats and make traditional noodles such as Mi Quang. Experience the local way of life, complete with an adrenaline-pumping 300-meter bamboo bridge river crossing to the sea-side landscape of Duy Hai Market and Harbor. Have lunch at Cam Thanh homestay before returning to your hotel by motorbike. Please note that the route can be adjusted to match your preference if you prefer biking over a scooter tour.

Enjoy a leisurely morning and breakfast before we collect you and take you to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia. Flight details will be provided. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred directly to your hotel. You'll have the remainder of the day to relax and unwind at your own pace.

Begin your day with breakfast at your hotel before your guide picks you up to visit the ancient Khmer civilization site of Hariharalaya, which thrived in the late 9th and early 10th centuries. These are the earliest temples in the Angkor area, collectively known as the Rolous group, comprising Lo Lei, Preah Koh, and Bakhong Temples. After a fascinating exploration, enjoy lunch with a local family before driving to a rural area, 35 kilometers from Angkor, to visit Banteay Srei. This temple, built in the 10th century and dedicated to Shiva, is known for its intricate and beautifully preserved pink sandstone structure, featuring striking sculptures, lintels, pediments, and friezes. It is often said that the temple's detailed carvings are too fine to have been made by the hands of men. On your return to Siem Reap, visit Banteay Samre Temple, adorned with impressive reliefs depicting Vishnu and Krishna legends.

Commence your day with an early breakfast at your hotel. At 7:30 am, your guide will take you to the captivating Ta Prohm, a temple that appears to be entwined with the jungle, creating a haunting and exotic atmosphere. The magnificent tree roots that snake through the temple's massive stone blocks create an unforgettable scene.

Continue to explore the intricate Khmer ruins of Angkor Wat, one of the world's most impressive archaeological sites. The temple features remarkable Apsara carvings and is an iconic representation of Khmer classical art.

Delve deeper into the mysteries of the Royal City of Angkor Thom, where you'll discover the awe-inspiring Bayon Temple with its 54 towering spires. The temple's enigmatic stone faces will surround you, evoking a sense of being transported back to a primitive and distant era. Explore other captivating sites in the vicinity, including Baphou, Elephant Terraces, Lipper King Terrace, and the Royal Palace enclosure. Conclude your temple tour with a visit to Preah Khan.
