Vietnam Tours Reviews

Why Do you choose Vietnam Tours?

Many would-be tourists ponder whether they should purchase a prearranged vacation or go with the flow. You should take a guided tour of Vietnam because of the following reasons.

Inaccessible areas

Traveling with a tour group will allow you to see more off-the-beaten-path attractions than you can on your own. Jungle treks in some of the world's most unexplored and beautiful areas, homestays with mountain communities, visits to local houses, and artisan workshops are all part of the Vietnam tour package.

Less planning

Book a guided tour with a reputable organization if you want to spend less time arranging and more time exploring. When working with a reputable travel agency, there is a wide variety of tours.

Any reputable tour operator in Vietnam can help you plan the most fulfilling vacation based on your list of "can't-miss" attractions. They will be able to attach unique options to your plan.

Why Do you choose Vietnam Tours?

Beauty of Vietnam

When to visit Vietnam?

North Vietnam

From December to February, the northern region of Vietnam has chilly, dry winters. High temperatures and high humidity are typical throughout the summer, from May to August.

March through April and September through November are ideal for a trip to northern Vietnam because of the pleasant weather and little rainfall.

Central Vietnam

During the rainy season, typhoons strike the central Vietnam coast, causing widespread damage. August through November is peak typhoon season.

By February, the rainy season has often ended, and the weather has become warmer and sunnier. So, anytime between February and August is an excellent time to visit Central Vietnam for tourists.

South Vietnam

When to visit Vietnam?

Mekong Delta Vietnam

All seasons are suitable for travel to South Vietnam due to its warm, pleasant climate. In most places, the dry season is from December to May, while the wet season is from June to November.

Rain tends to occur in brief spurts and seldom causes travel delays. Many photographers consider the monsoon season prime time when spectacular thunderheads drift above the Mekong Delta, and rice fields take on a vivid emerald-green hue.

However, from March through May, the thermometer often hits 104 degrees Fahrenheit, which may be intolerable for some.

Things You Need To Know Before Getting To Vietnam

Based on my experience traveling to Vietnam extensively, I have developed this guide for future tourists.

Visa

Tourists from certain countries need visas to enter Vietnam (such as the USA and Canada). Before leaving, make sure you have the appropriate visa.

Citizens of numerous European Union and Asian nations may enter Vietnam without visas (excluding China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, etc.).

Local Vietnamese Embassies

If you want to plan, apply for a Vietnam visa at your country's embassy before leaving for your trip. Sending in a visa application by regular mail or the internet is also an option.

Vietnam E-Visa

You may submit an electronic visa application to Vietnam for a 30-day, single-entry visa. See detailed instructions at the Vietnam Immigration Department.

Things You Need To Know Before Getting To Vietnam

Visa on Arrival

Travelers from certain countries may receive a Vietnam Visa upon arrival at select international airports in Vietnam, including those in Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Da Nang, Hai Phong, and Hanoi.

Check the list of countries to see if you qualify for a visa upon arrival in Vietnam. To receive the visa, you must obtain an approval letter before landing at one of the listed airports.

Besides your passport, your visa application requires two passport-sized pictures and some cash. Check the Vietnam Visa to learn more about the Vietnam visa on arrival process.

Vaccine

Things You Need To Know Before Getting To Vietnam

Vaccine COVID-19

Vaccination in Vietnam is relatively easy, and you won't need any rare or exotic ones. However, if you want to be specific, you may review the WHO and CDC's lists of immunizations required or recommended for visitors to Vietnam.

You should already have most of these immunizations since they are strongly recommended for everyone. Visit the CDC's travelers' health page for additional details on staying healthy in Vietnam.

Getting To Vietnam

Things You Need To Know Before Getting To Vietnam

Vietnam Airlines

Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Da Nang have international airports serving the country.

Vietnam Airlines, the primary carrier for direct flights from several Asian and European cities and Australia, is a convenient option for visitors.

Transiting in Bangkok, Dubai, Doha, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, or Taipei is an option for many other long-haul flights to Vietnam.

Accommodation

In practically every city or town in Vietnam that you would like to visit, you can find various hotels and hostels to select from. It would help to compare costs online before making a hostel or hotel reservation.

SIM And Mobile Data

Things You Need To Know Before Getting To Vietnam

A SIM Card

How important it is to obtain a local SIM card in Vietnam! Data is quite beneficial, and SIM cards are very inexpensive. Viettel, Mobiphone, and VinaPhone all provide popular tourist-friendly SIM card options.

You should get a Vietnam SIM card at the airport when you land. If you want a SIM card, you'll need to show your passport and get your phone unlocked.

The SIM card is also sold at authorized retail outlets. There are also plenty of tourist information centers and businesses where you may get it throughout your trip.

During your 10-day vacation in Vietnam, you may remain connected without a local SIM card. You may have WiFi for free at almost every hotel or eating establishment.

Transport

Things You Need To Know Before Getting To Vietnam

Motorbikes in Ho Chi Minh City

Motorbikes

Going on a motorbike is a fun and easy way to see Vietnam. In Vietnam, you do not need a license to ride a motorbike of up to 50 cc in displacement.

Riding this vehicle around a city is a great way to see the sights. However, it could be more suitable for long-distance transportation.

You'll have access to more powerful motorcycles with a valid license and an international driver's permit. It will get you around Vietnam's most beautiful routes, including the world-famous Ha Giang Loop.

Bicycles

Bicycles are a fantastic mode of transportation in Vietnam, especially after you leave the major roads. Bicycle rentals from hotels are convenient for short trips within a compact region.

The country's principal highways are generally in excellent condition, and its terrain is either completely flat or very mildly mountainous.

Buses

Buses are popular among tourists on a tight budget since they are one of Vietnam's most cost-effective means of transportation. The extensive bus network that reaches all regions of the nation makes them reasonably practical.

Several extremely plush sleeper buses run overnight. The seats on these buses fold flat and recline to become beds.

They also come with blankets, power outlets for electronic devices, and more.

Taxi and Private Transfer

Taxis and private transfers are the priciest but most hassle-free methods to get around Vietnam. You may get a vehicle or motorcycle at a predetermined rate using the Grab app (similar to Uber).

Trains

Since many parts of Vietnam are far from one another, using an overnight train is the most efficient and cost-effective way to travel between them.

You may see the train timetable and fare information on the Vietnam Railways website. Unfortunately, you can't purchase the tickets with foreign credit cards, so you must have cash or a domestic bank account.

Domestic flights

Taking a local flight inside Vietnam is a convenient option if you need to move from one place to another quickly. There are flights at all times of the year, and the tickets may be inexpensive if you book in advance.

Airlines will accept reservations made using foreign credit and debit cards. Keep in mind, however, that cancellations happen often.

In terms of airline reliability, Vietnam Airlines has the lowest cancellation rate. Bamboo Airways, Pacific Airlines, and Vietjet are other local airlines that serve Vietnam.

While flying is unquestionably convenient, it limits your opportunities to take in the stunning landscape of this magnificent nation.

Safety

Things You Need To Know Before Getting To Vietnam

Vietnamese Street Crossing

Tourists, including women traveling alone, should feel protected in Vietnam. On the other hand, there is little theft like pickpocketing.

Keep a watchful eye on your belongings, particularly in complicated situations. Avoiding wearing jewelry while on the go is a good idea.

If you need to get used to the traffic flow in Vietnam, keep an eye out for vehicles and motorcycles. The sheer number of motorbikes in dense urban areas like Hanoi might be intimidating.

Cross the roadway with extreme care. When crossing the street in Vietnam, it is best to follow local people.

Nighttime trains and buses are safe for single travelers. Nothing to worry about when you use public transport except to carry your backpack or bag in front of your chest and always cuddle it by your arms.

Food And Drinks

Things You Need To Know Before Getting To Vietnam

Vietnamese Pho

I do like the country's many noodle options. There is a website called Foody VN that provides ratings and reviews of restaurants in Vietnam.

You may sample these foods at roadside stands, farmer's markets, and cozy eateries. I suggest dining only at licensed eating facilities.

You can't drink the water straight from the tap in Vietnam. You may get water from the purifiers available in most restaurants and motels.

Money And Paying

Things You Need To Know Before Getting To Vietnam

Vietnamese Dong

The Vietnamese Dong is the country's official currency, and 1 US Dollar is now equal to around 24,873 Dong. While in Vietnam, you'll want to ensure access to some local money.

Only major retail centers, upscale restaurants, and hotels often take credit cards. Since automated teller machines (ATMs) are not widely accessible across Vietnam, I brought some US dollars or Euros for currency exchange.

The withdrawal fees for using an ATM in urban areas typically range from 0% to 4%.

People And Local Culture

Vietnamese people are well-known for their friendliness and continuous smiles. As expected, English is widely spoken and understood in tourist hotspots, and many eateries there even provide English-language menus.

Be prepared to remove your shoes regularly since this is a cultural norm. You'll need to leave your footwear on a shoe rack at the door.

You must remove them at the entrance, place them in a plastic bag, and wear rubber slippers at the exit on long-distance buses. They will give you a plastic bag and slippers, yet I recommend preparing them yourself.

Top Destinations

There are many must-see attractions around the nation, but a few stand out above the rest. You may use my suggested itineraries for sightseeing in Vietnam to organize your trip.

Hanoi

The city of Hanoi is undoubtedly one to explore. Although it is ancient and decaying in places, it is a city rich in history and unique personality.

It's a great joy to explore on foot because of the city's many examples of French colonial architecture, lakes, and tree-lined boulevards. Unlike Saigon, I can easily cover the city on foot in about two days.

The finest spot to stay in Hanoi is the Old Quarter. There are several of the city's best attractions within walking distance of this region because of its prime location in the tourism district.

Top Destinations

Ho Chi Minh Monument

The eastern side of Ba Dinh is the second finest spot to stay in Hanoi after Hoan Kiem. I visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Temple of Literature, and the Thang Long Citadel, all of which have significant historical significance.

Thang Long Water Puppet Theater is the place to go if you want to see a traditional Vietnamese presentation. You may see water puppets play traditional Vietnamese folktales and stories for an hour to the accompaniment of a live orchestra at the Puppet Theater on the shores of Hoan Kiem Lake.

Halong Bay

Top Destinations

Halong Bay

In contrast to the turquoise water, the sharp cliffs look striking. Emerald green waters and the 3,000 islands of soaring limestone are a hallmark.

You may visit the bay on a day trip, but I recommend spending at least one night on a boat. It's a lot of fun to rent kayaks and take a bay tour. Doing so will allow you to acquire a new viewpoint on the limestone outcrops.

If you take a kayak trip to a fishing community, you may see the residents as they go about their everyday lives. You may join the villagers in building fishing nets or go out and gather some food for yourself.

The quality of the meal is outstanding. You won't be able to turn down the succulent shrimp, pink octopus tentacles, and rich crab flesh swimming in clam nectar and garlic broth.

Ninh Binh

Top Destinations

 Ninh Binh

Ninh Binh is a popular tourist destination in Vietnam due to its stunning natural beauty and spectacular sceneries, which include old temples, underground caverns, and green rice fields.

Taking a boat ride down one of Ninh Binh's rivers, riding a bike through the countryside, and seeing some of the city's many historic pagodas and temples are all great ways to spend a day.

May through July coincide with harvest time and are the best time to visit this city. Traveling to Vietnam this time of year will allow you to see some of the country's iconic scenes as people harvest rice.

One of the most incredible things to do in Tam Coc is to go on a boat tour. Get in a rowboat and let the natives steer around this scenic region filled with karst mountains, caverns, and breathtaking scenery.

There is no exaggeration in saying that the scenery of Trang An deserves to be on the UNESCO World Heritage List. In contrast to the turquoise water, the sharp cliffs look striking.

Located in the province of Ninh Binh, Cuc Phuong National Park is Vietnam's most significant natural reserve. Its conserved rainforest is home to more than 300 species of rare birds and 2,000 types of flora.

A native ethnic group, the Muong, will even let you stay with them for a night or two in the park.

Hue

Top Destinations

Khai Dinh Tomb

Visiting Hue, you may learn about the Nguyen Dynasty and have a pleasant stroll around the Complex of Hue Monuments. The massive size and intricate design of Hue City's Royal Tombs, such as the Khai Dinh Tombs, will astound visitors.

In addition, you may schedule a trip to the Hue countryside to experience the tranquility of the region's historic towns.

The tranquility of Hue shines through in the city's temples and monasteries. I visited Thien Mu Pagoda to see the famous seven-tiered tower.

I was interested in architecture and the remnants of French colonial rule in Hue.

I saw the art deco lines of La Residence Hotel and the grand red structures of Quoc Hoc High School while strolling along Le Loi.

Last but not least, it's fantastic for planning a Hue cuisine tour, especially if you're a foodie. They took me to feast on specialties like Bun Bo and Bun Hen.

Modern Hue cuisine has earned a reputation for excellence. If you're still hungry, you may whet your appetite with some Banh Khoai or Banh Beo.

Hoi An

Top Destinations

Hoi An Ancient Town

Beautiful temples, tombs, and the world-famous Purple Forbidden City are a few of the architectural highlights of this city's reputation.

If you're looking for a peaceful location to relax, this city by the river is it. Bicycling is the ideal method to view the city since it allows you to go off the beaten path and discover its hidden treasures.

Once a month, people gather for the Full Moon Festival. Lovely lighted lanterns serve as the unofficial symbols of this historic district.

The town bustles with activity whenever a classical theater or musical event occurs. A trip to Vietnam at this time would be perfect for anybody looking to experience the country's vibrant festival spirit.

I learned about Vietnam's fishing history by visiting a fishing village. I also saw coconut groves on the lake and fished for tiny crabs in the reeds and dirt.

Besides, I enrolled in a cooking school and picked up some tips on making meals fit for a king. You'll want to spend considerable time in this city since there's so much to do.

Nha Trang

Top Destinations

Nha Trang Beach

Nha Trang is most famous for its beautiful harbor and its 19 islands and islets. Every day, hundreds of tourists go to Tran Phu Beach to bask on the many sunbeds that line the shore.

You can find fun water activities like parasailing, kitesurfing, paddleboarding, and jet skiing all along the beach.

In addition, I got away from it by riding my motorcycle to Long Beach. I also took a day's journey along the coast of Vietnam to Doc Let, located about 60 kilometers north of the city.

Nha Trang is recognized as the best place in Vietnam to indulge in seafood. The seas off the coast of Khanh Hoa are teeming with marine life, providing the fresh fish and shellfish that are the star of many a lunch in Nha Trang.

It would be remiss if you didn't take advantage of the mud baths. Mineral-rich clay attributes therapeutic and skin-healing benefits, such as improved circulation and hydration.

It would help if you took a refreshing waterfall shower after the mud bath. After that, take a relaxing swim in one of the hot mineral pools.

Those interested in culture will find much to do in Nha Trang. The Po Nagar Cham Towers, constructed in the eighth century, are an essential piece of Cham architecture.

Meanwhile, Nha Trang Cathedral is an impressive structure in the city, with stained-glass windows and pillars reminiscent of the French Gothic style.

The Buddhist Meditation Institute is a bit out of the way, but definitely worth the effort. It looks out over a picturesque landscape of rice terraces and mountains surrounded by flowers and plants.

Ho Chi Minh

Top Destinations

Vincom Landmark 81

You can find exciting excursions and must-see landmarks in Ho Chi Minh city.

French-style buildings, gleaming skyscrapers, ornate pagodas, and temples are the hot destinations in the Pearl of the Far East.

It is a place rich in history and culture, with several museums, cathedrals, and other areas of worship. It is also well-known for its vibrant bar and club culture, as well as its rooftop bars.

You can find everything from colonial landmarks to modern skyscrapers, fine dining to delicious street food, and everything in between in this exciting metropolis. The city provides a convenient jumping-off point for excursions to the surrounding areas, including the breathtaking Mekong Delta.

Saigon's cuisine is diverse, ranging from local specialties to meals from other parts of Vietnam and even the world.

Ben Tre

Top Destinations

River Cruise in Ben Tre

Located in the Mekong Delta of Vietnam, Ben Tre is referred to as the "Kingdom of Coconut." Tan Quy Islet, Phung Islet, Vam Ho bird sanctuary, and orchard tourism are well-known destinations in Ben Tre.

Gorgeous water coconut canals and age-old customs await you. Let's unwind as we ride calmly across a little canal lined with lush vegetation and towering coconut trees in a traditional rowing boat.

You may walk a wooded road when visiting the Vam Ho bird sanctuary. Explore the mangroves, stop at the resistance outpost, cross the bamboo bridge, swing gently in a hammock hung from a tree, and take in the clean air of the Ba Lai River.

With its picturesque riverside setting and the dulcet tones of its Southern star, Con Phung is a popular tourist attraction in the Ben Tre region.

There, you may relax to the music of amateur musicians whose work has been recognized by UNESCO as part of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

Can Tho

Top Destinations

Cai Rang Floating Market

The world's biggest and most famous Cai Rang floating markets are located in Can Tho. There are many tourist boats there, so it is noisy and congested.

Although open 24/7, the best time to visit the Cai Rang Floating Market is between 5 and 9 a.m. Dried fish, fish sauce, coconut candy, and milk are only some of the local delicacies and agricultural goods from Cai Rang Town, Chau Thanh District, and the surrounding regions that are marketed there.

You may taste your way through the rural lifestyle of the Vietnamese people as you sample a wide variety of street delicacies, including ‘pho’, ‘bun rieu’,  as you watch vendors at the Cai Rang floating market.

A must-do in Can Tho is visiting fruit fields and the floating market. It would help if you also utilized boats to reach the gardens far into the water labyrinth and via several natural canals.

The Ba Bo Flower Village, a 20-hectare hamlet where over 250 families raise several varieties of flowers and beautiful plants, is a worthwhile tourist destination in Can Tho. Taking Can Tho motorcycle or bicycle tours is the only way to discover the flower villages' secrets.

If you arrive in the park after dark, you may view the Can Tho walking bridge, which has two enormous lotus blossoms illuminated by thousands of neon lights and revitalizes the whole region. From the rooftop bar, this is a terrific location for snapping photographs or just soaking in the fantastic river view of Can Tho at night.

Phu Quoc

Top Destinations

Tropical beach in Phu Quoc

Although Phu Quoc is arguably most known for its infinite stretch of white sand beaches, the variety of activities there can also make the island a great place to visit.

Adventurers may get their fix with a dozen various water sports and the twenty-one other wild islands. Nature lovers have their choice of national parks and UNESCO-protected eco-tourism activities.

A substantial network of coral reefs, both soft and stiff hard kinds, encircles many of the archipelago's islands. The crystal-clear, translucent water is a perfect window into that colorful underwater world.

The fish sauce from Phu Quoc is a must-try for foodies. I visited a factory to see how they make the fish sauce and taste-test a wide variety.

Sapa

Ventures Through Vietnam 14 Days

With this 14-day tour, I visited all the rivers and trails of 5 big cities Hanoi, Halong, Hue, Hoi an, Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh, and Ben Tre. I dug into local cuisine at each stop and immersed myself in the vibrant culture.

It was a carefully designed itinerary that took me from traditional villages lying on breathtaking mountains in Sapa to romantic cruises flowing on turquoise waters in Halong Bay.

The charming Hoi An and ancient Hue gave me invaluable knowledge about the history and culture of the Vietnamese people who lived hundreds of years ago. The journey continued to be worth it, with the brilliant coral reefs shining in the clear waters of the Nha Trang sea.

Ho Chi Minh City was the final point of the journey. Here, I enjoyed famous dishes from different regions and experienced the nightlife on the sleepless streets in the city's heart.

Best Of Northern Vietnam 9 Days

I visited beautiful, secluded villages on this quick excursion through this Northern Vietnam tour to learn about the local culture of ethnic minorities. I met fantastic people and saw beautiful landscapes, caves, and waterfalls.

A private guide from my hotel for a pleasant journey with a magnificent mountain view to Mai Chau picked me up. It was an excellent spot to discover gorgeous environments and tranquil lives as a getaway from my hectic and loud metropolis.

After that, I took a short hike down to the Don village in the Pu Luong nature reserve, where I enjoyed a great view of local farming and rice production. I saw far-off communities from the mountain slope, where I must hike.

The most notable stop on this route is Ninh Binh. I also took boats on Tam Coc, Trang An, or Van Long and visited the Dinh King, Le King, and Bai Dinh Pagodas.

Phu Quoc Adventure 2 Days

Phu Quoc is a must-visit tourist spot for those looking to soak up the sun. It is bordered by white-sand beaches and has extensive tracts still covered in deep tropical vegetation. An adventure tour may include diving into the reefs, kayaking in the bays, or taking a leisurely drive through backroads.

I went to the Sim Winery on the first day and learned about some of the distinctive wines made on the island. Sim Winery is a fascinating location for individuals interested in learning new things and wine enthusiasts.

Ham Ninh Fishing Village, one of the oldest villages on Phu Quoc Island, is an ideal locale for foreign visitors. I heard them talk about how they catch pearls and sea cucumbers, as well as how to make some souvenirs.

At the end of the journey, I visited Gam Ghi Island. Since it is still relatively unspoiled, I was able to admire this picturesque paradise with the soft powdery white sand and the clean turquoise sea.

Culinary Tours

Top List Of Vietnam Tour Packages

Cai Rang floating market

For those who want to experience Vietnamese culture and cuisine in both urban and rural settings, the Vietnam food tours are perfect.

These excursions are also appropriate for individuals who wish to share a broad range of Vietnamese cultural experiences, including the hustle and bustle of Hanoi, the allure of Hoi An, the serenity of remote mountain villages, and always the warmth and friendliness of Vietnamese people.

These cuisine excursions often include visits to bustling markets, thriving farms, and a bounty of delectable foodstuffs. Follow the following plan to have some of Vietnam's most incredible meals!

Vietnam Culinary Discovery 10 Days

A guided culinary tour is the best way to learn about local food.

I just visited Saigon and went on a terrific street food tour. From Street food carts to rooftop bars, Saigon has a wide variety of excellent eateries and pubs to suit every taste.

Then, they brought me to a workshop in Ben Tre. I had the opportunity to sample the coconut candies and understand how they are made.

The Cai Rang floating market was the next stop. I saw the Vietnamese vermicelli soup preparation there to discover its deliciousness.

Another highlight of my excursion was the orchard garden. Fruit comes in such wide varieties that I cannot try them all.

I requested my tour guide pick me up when I got to Ha Noi so I could have authentic Vietnamese food. You should do a coffee tour since the Vietnamese make fantastic coffee.

The most well-known of the city's several specialty coffees is Ca Phe Trung, sometimes referred to as egg coffee. Among the unusual combinations I tried were cinnamon coffee and yogurt coffee.

Best Cultural & Heritage Vietnam 12 Days

Our 12-day journey from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City was incredible and will never be forgotten.

Before making the reservation, we exchanged many emails and received many recommendations and options for this custom vacation. In Hanoi, when we first arrived, a representative welcomed us at the airport and drove us to our hotel.

We traveled to Hoi An, Hue, Halong Bay, and Saigon. The guides are fluent in English and have in-depth knowledge of their land.

Each of the hotels that were selected was close to an attraction. I couldn't have made a better decision.

Mekong Delta Local Life 3 Days

One of Vietnam's most spectacular regions is the Mekong Delta. It contains Cai Be and Cai Rang, two of Southeast Asia's biggest floating marketplaces.

Locals here offer a wide variety of products produced in the Delta. Everything is available here!

I had the opportunity to watch live on a boat, which was their place of business, transportation, and residence, and to participate in the Delta water trade.

We traveled to the province of Ben Tre after leaving the famous market. We cycle along the Ham Luong River's banks at this location.

We settled down with a kind local family for culinary demonstrations late in the day. We cooked delicious Coconut Cake, zingy dipping sauce, fresh spring rolls, and other traditional Vietnamese foods.

The family then generously hosts us for supper, which we enjoy. We spent the night in their house to learn about their way of life and experience river life.

In conclusion, our whole family enjoyed and had a great time on vacation, participating in various activities and means of transportation. I learned much about the Mekong Delta's lovely world on the trip.

Trekking and Cycling Tours

Cycling in Ninh Binh

Vietnam is now one of the most incredible places in Indochina for bicycle excursions. Going by bicycle to Sapa and Halong Bay from Hanoi is undoubtedly a worthwhile discovery.

Trekking is a fantastic way to see Vietnam's incredible natural variety fully. I got to know the locals living peacefully in these beautiful places and ventured farther into the forest to find the astounding diversity of flora and animals.

I have been fortunate to participate in two of the fantastic itineraries as below.

Mai Chau – Pu Luong Trekking Tours 3 Days / 2 Nights

I drove through rugged, hilly terrain to Mai Chau in the early morning. Around lunchtime, we arrived at the mountainous zoo that is Mai Chau after going over a large pass.

Later that day, I went for a short stroll in the Mai Chau valley before being transferred to the nearby town of Mai Hich. I went for a little bike ride around the picturesque town.

I attended a culinary lesson in the late afternoon. I was taught how to make a traditional Thai meal by a Thai chef.

The next day, I made it to Pu Luong Nature Reserve. It's just as picturesque as the typical Westerner imagines rural Vietnam to be.

I rode myself to a Muong community. Eventually, I made it to Hang village at about midday after hiking along the mountainside, creek, and route of an ancient forest.

I spent day three hiking with our local guide, which was a lot of fun. Beginning at Poom Coong, this challenging hike passes through the rural villages of Na Meo, Xam Pa, and Na Mo, where travelers may enjoy views of the region's stunning paddy fields and plantations.

In short, I had a fabulous 3-day fabulous trip in Mai Chau and Pu Luong. Everything is so excellent because it is so pure and natural. There is nothing to complain about.

Ninh Binh Cycling Tours 2 Days

Cuc Phuong National Park, Tam Coc valley, and Van Long Nature Reserve are why Ninh Binh is a popular tourist destination.

On the first day, I rode my bike peacefully down rural roads, past little towns, and in front of a bewildering backdrop of limestone mountains surrounded by the canal system.

On day two of my vacation, I visited Cuc Phuong National Park, one of the highlights. My morning routine included a ride up several hills deep into the bush.

Outside in the fresh air, listening to the birds' singing was a worthwhile experience. By doing so, I was able to spend a few days immersed in excitement and rest, apart from the worries of city life.

Mekong Delta river tour

Taking a cruise through Vietnam gave me fantastic chances to learn about the fascinating history, fascinating culture, and breathtaking scenery of this remarkable nation. The opportunity to take in the stunning beauty of Halong Bay and its limestone islets is not to be missed.

A trip along the Mekong River is the perfect way to tour the nation in luxury while also experiencing some of the country's more off-the-beaten-path customs. Make plans immediately.

Mekong Delta River Tours 5 Days

Surrounding the Mekong River Delta are lush agricultural areas exhibiting Mother Nature's bounty. Vietnam's great Mekong is home to peaceful floating villages teeming with tropical fruits, buffalo grazing in paddy fields, and bird-rich mangroves.

I began my trip in the pearl of the Far East. Then I experienced the one-of-a-kind rustic allure of Southern Vietnam.

I took a trip to Cai Rang, home of one of the Mekong River's busiest floating marketplaces. I strolled along the canals and the stream covered by palm trees, taking in sights of the homes and verdant orchards of the locals, shipyards, and other rural and water-based businesses.

It's one of the world's most fruitful regions because of its unique combination of agriculture, rural communities, and colorful floating marketplaces. Most people who take Mekong Delta trips succumb to its irresistible allure.

Halong Bay cruise

It’s worth taking a cruise around Halong Bay to admire tranquil seas and stunning limestone cliffs.

I was sailing with Mon Chéri Cruises for three days and two nights. This cruise was not the most luxurious, yet it still could be the best vacation I've ever had.

On the first day of my trip, I visited the popular swimming and kayaking spot at Three Peach beach in Lan Ha Bay. About 400 fascinating limestone islands and caverns contribute to this area's outstanding beauty and clean beaches.

My guide took me on a day boat to Cat Ba island's Viet Hai Village the next day. I rode a bike around the hamlet and took in the beautiful views of the rice paddies as I went.

On my nighttime return to Mon Cheri, I climbed to the sundeck to take in the bay in the dark. I also did enjoy some beverages and soothing tunes at the bar or gave squid fishing another go.

Travel Tips
  • Any item you want to purchase in Vietnam is up for negotiation for a lower price.
  • It would help if you had lightweight garments that you may put on in various climates.
  • Wear skin-protecting clothing and use insect repellent.
  • It would help if you had a reliable pair of walking shoes or sneakers that can withstand water.
  • Attire for trips to religious institutions includes long trousers or skirts and shawls.
  • Any business that will only deal in US dollars is just interested in taking your money since the exchange rates they provide are skewed considerably in their favor. I strongly recommend you to use only VND for payments.
  • Depending on the device, you'll need to pack an adaptor for the Type A, Type C, or Type F plugs found in Vietnam. The typical electrical current is 220V, and the frequency is 50Hz.
