Exclusive Journey of Northern Vietnam 5 Days

Upon arrival, you will be met outside the baggage claim area by your guide who will escort you to a waiting vehicle for your transfer to downtown with a brief introduction en route. Your guide will be holding a welcome signboard with the ASIA TOUR ADVISOR & your name. During the drive, your guide will provide an introduction about Ha Noi. Meals on your own account. Overnight in hotel in Ha Noi.

Ha Noi is Vietnam’s capital city and home to seven million people. Traditional and refined with French colonial architecture, tree-lined boulevards, scenic lakes and a bustling Old Quarter, Ha Noi has a sophisticated charm. Observe locals practicing Tai Chi by the lake, with barbers and food vendors plying their sidewalk trade.

Starting in Hanoi at around 8:00 AM, tourist will be transferred through the mountainous area of Thai Nguyen province, a place well-known for a range of large mountains and is the home of one of the biggest national park in Vietnam. Moreover, unique stilt houses, remarkable scenes will sure entertain visitor and it is possible to stop and take pictures. Just right at noon, you will arrive in Quynh Son village, a commune tourism village in Bac Son. We will have lunch in a stilt house with the food featuring the local cuisine. Immerse in the friendly atmosphere and enjoy the hospitality of the villagers.

In the afternoon, it is time to walk around Quynh Son village, which is known as the home of Tay people, an ethnic group of Vietnam. Here, you can freely experience the life of the local people, their rich culture and customs. Then, it time for us to climb Na Lay mountain, a famous destination yet very close to our accommodation. Beginning at the foot of the mountain, you will travel to the top where the cell phone tower located. At that very moment, a scene mix with the light of the sun, the green of the field, the blue of the sky will be ultimately captured in your eyes.

But do not be stunned by the scene without forgetting to take any picture for this moment as it will surely be wasted. Afterward, we will climb down and return to our homestay for the night. You will be welcomed back by a local meal made by the host to recover energy after a long journey. For the rest of the day, the local is open to any conversation to find out their rich culture.

Option 1: Trekking In Bac Son

In the morning, after having a nice traditional meal of the villagers, you will travel to a nearby tile factory. You will have the chance to visit this family factory which uses a very old and traditional technique to produce tiles for most of the stilt houses of the region.

Then, after a while seeing this unique factory, we will transfer you to a small valley where you will begin your engaging trekking tour. Leading by a small concrete way, you will see a number of tranquil houses, rice fields before hiking into a big forest and surround by trees and nice breezes. After a while, you will reach the top and witness the entire area presented in front of you. It is high time that you award yourself by breath the fresh air, take pictures or simply rest in the middle of Heaven and Earth.

After enjoying the magnificent scene, you will travel onto the next valley and down the hill on buffalo path. If you are lucky, you might get to see the farming scene of the local people. Walking back to our homestay, you will have lunch and take a short break to regain your energy. After that, you will bid farewell to our host and be transferred back to Hanoi and arrive at around 6:00 PM.

Option 2: Cycling In Bac Son

After having a traditional breakfast, time for us to visit another village in the region on a 3-hour biking trip. Along the way, you will experience the peaceful land of Bac Son, the fresh air of the mountainous area and the nice breezes blew on the way. Moreover, there will be a lot of traditional houses, mountains and forests await you on the trip.

Stop at the banyan tree, which marks the traditional architecture style of the old village in Vietnam, visit Nong Luc temple, an epitome of Vietnam traditional communal house. This place is not only a culture site but also a historical one since the temple is the meeting place to launch the Bac Son revolutionary campaign on September 27th, 1940.

Then, you will bike back to the homestay to have last meal with the host. After that, it is time to say goodbye to our generous host and travel to Hanoi at about 5:00 PM.

In the morning, you will travel to Halong and arrive around noon. There, you will embark on a cruise in the must-see Halong Bay. This world-famous bay is one of the most beautiful landscapes in Vietnam, with its giant rock islets covered in luxuriant vegetation overlooking the waters. Halong Bay includes some 1,900 islands and islets of rocky peaks, often uninhabited and unvisited. This scene creates a spectacular marine landscape, which earned it UNESCO World Heritage status in 1994. You will be served lunch and dinner abroad with excellent and freshly caught seafood from the bay. At the end of the day, you will have the chance to enjoy a night fishing session on the boat.

Early in the morning and depending on the season, you will wake up to enjoy sunrise over the aquamarine waters of the bay. Then the cruise will tour around the bay until you disembark at the end of the morning. After that, you will then return to Ha Noi airport for your departure flight.
