Arriving at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi, you will be welcomed by the driver of AsiaTourAdvisor.com and transferred to Hanoi City, the capital city of Vietnam, is an elegant city located on the banks of the Red River with tranquil Restored Sword Lake at its heart.Transfer to hotel in the city center to refresh. Depart Hanoi early morning for approximately 4 hour driveto Mai Chau located about 150 km southwest of Hanoi.  Just an hour beyond Hanoi, after Hoa Binh Town, the road weaves through mountains, fertile valleys and traditional villages.

Arrive in the picturesque Mai Chau Valley surrounded by spectacular karst rock formations and rice paddies. After lunch, spend the afternoon exploring the idyllic natural surroundings and visit the house of the local people.

This evening enjoy a traditional Thai performance of music and dance. The Thai ethnic group has inhabited this area for centuries and much of their lifestyle and traditions have remained unchanged over the years.

Stay overnight in a traditional stilt-house* of the Thai people, an incredibly enriching experience in which you can learn about this fascinating culture first hand. (The home stay accommodation consists of comfortable curtained-off sleeping areas in one long room; all bedding and mosquito nets are provided).

With ‘Homestay’ experience, your overnight accommodation is provided by a local family in their traditional house-on-silts. There are some private rooms on the first floor for priavte tour and you will have toilet or bathroom sharing. The sleeping corner is set up with a single mattress (thin, but adequate), blankets (ditto), pillow and mosquito net. The restroom is at standard and a few steps from the main house.

Start this morning with a light trek or walk 2- 4 hours through one or some other villages in the Mai Chau Valley.You will have a goo chance to visit Chieu cave. To get to Chieu Cave you must climb a staggering 1,200 stone steps, but once you arrive at its mouth you will be glad you made the effort. Filled with impressive stone structures, “Hang Chiều” is like the land before time. “Chiều”, meaning ‘afternoon’, is a name given to the cave by local people, because it is made even more magnificent in the afternoon when the sun fills the cave with sparkling jewels of reflected light. After lunch in Mai Chau, begin the journey back to Hanoi.  Along the way, be sure to have your camera ready for when you reach the top of the Mai Chau Valley, the views are superb.  Continue the drive and reach Hanoi late this afternoon. You will check in your hotel and have shower before we start our street food tour.Firstly our tour guide will take you to enjoy Hanoi excursion then show you the most special things in this hustle – bustle city, the busy daily life activities, the typical architecture as well ass tell you the interesting histories about this old town. By this manner, your group and tour guide can walk over most famous streets in Hanoi Old Quarter.

While walking around Hanoi Old Quarter, we do stop at uncountable numbers of restaurants/ food stalls to try Vietnamese food and drink. Those are really well-known and most popular for Hanoi and tourist. We'll take you to a traditional fishing village where the locals have created an entire town on the decks of their boats, then you can explore Tien Ong Cave before returning to the cruise for cocktails, canapés, and a spectacular sunset. End your day with a romantic, candlelit dinner.

Begin the day with a Tai Chi class on deck in the early morning mist or just admire the beautiful scenery as the sun rises over the azure waters.
