Hanoi Arrival

When you arrive at the Noi Bai International airport you'll be met at the baggage claim by our friendly guide. Just look for the sign with our Asia Tour Advisor logo and your name to start your 2 week Vietnam tour. We'll get you to your hotel and see that you're comfortable, plus we'll give you an introduction to the city at the same time. Then the rest of the day is yours to settle in, relax, and explore the area.

Hanoi has many great restaurants with French, Vietnamese and international cuisines available. Ask your guide for personal recommendations.

Hanoi is Vietnam’s capital city and home to seven million people. Traditional and refined with French colonial architecture, tree-lined boulevards, scenic lakes and a bustling Old Quarter, Hanoi has a sophisticated charm. Observe locals practicing Tai Chi by the lake, with barbers and food vendors plying their sidewalk trade.

Hanoi city tour full day

You'll have your breakfast at the hotel and then the local tour guide will pick you up to take you into the capital city of Vietnam. Hanoi is over 1,000 years old and during your day tour you'll get to explore many of its fascinating cultural and historical sites. You'll visit the imposing Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum where the preserved body of “Uncle Ho” has been laid to rest, the delicate One Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc Temple and the Quan Thanh Pagoda.

After lunch you can go to the Temple of Literature where you'll get to see ancient Vietnamese relics, then take a cyclo tour in 1 hour through the bustling and exciting Old Quarter to explore marketplace shops and foods. You'll end your day with a show at the water puppet theater - a beautifully unique cultural performance from northern Vietnam.

Hanoi – Halong Bay

We'll pick you up in Hanoi by 8:00am and drive through the verdant Red River Delta to make our way to the famous UNESCO World Heritage site, Halong Bay. You'll board a luxury junk ship for an overnight cruise-- while you relax on-board you can marvel at the incredible limestone karsts that jut out of the sea and the thousands of jungle-covered islands that seem to float on the waves. The turquoise waters of the Gulf of Tonkin swirl around hidden grottoes and ancient caves to create an enchanting, timeless world.

We'll serve you a fresh seafood lunch while you sit back and relax as you enjoy the incredible view with a drink in your hand. We'll take you to a traditional fishing village where the locals have created an entire town on the decks of their boats, then you can explore Tien Ong Cave before returning to the cruise for cocktails, canapés, and a spectacular sunset. End your day with a romantic, candlelit dinner.

Halong Bay - Hanoi – Hue

Begin the day with a Tai Chi class on deck in the early morning mist or just admire the beautiful scenery as the sun rises over the azure waters. Choose between an excursion to a secluded island with a sandy beach for a swim or join the chef for a cooking demonstration to learn more about Vietnamese cuisine. Enjoy a leisurely brunch while your junk cruises Halong Bay, passing islets and caves as you make your way back to the dock.

Your driver will meet you when you disembark and transfer you to Noi Bai airport for your flight to Hue. When you arrive in Hue we'll pick you up and transfer you to your hotel.

Hue served as an imperial capital to the Nguyen Lords, a feudal dynasty which reigned from the 17th to the 19th century. Despite heavy bombing during the Vietnam-American war, many historic monuments from this period remain, and even though Imperial rule ended more than six decades ago, Hue still bears the marks of its royal past. The city retains its royal charm with its emperors’ tombs, ancient pagodas and the remains of the Citadel.

Hue city tour

You'll begin your day in Hue with a visit to the ruins of the Imperial Citadel, the capital of the Nguyen Dynasty from 1802 to 1945. Then take a bicycle trip through the Old City to Tinh Tam Lake, the ancient gardens of the emperors. In the afternoon you can head to the Mu Pagoda, overlooking the emerald Perfume River. Your last stop will be to explore Khai Dinh's Tomb, a traditional Vietnamese temple with a European touch, making it a particularly unique tomb among the ancestral ruins of ancient Hue. In the evening you can explore the city and its marketplaces on your own.

Hue – Danang - Hoian

You'll have breakfast in your hotel, then have some free time to shop, explore, or just relax. In the afternoon one of our guides will pick you up and take you to Hoi An. On your way you can stop to visit Lang Co Beach, a picturesque fishing village, then drive through the Pass of Ocean Clouds for a stunning panoramic view of the mountains and sea, and make a quick visit to the Cham Museum.

After you arrive in Hoi An you will check into your hotel then have the afternoon to soak up the sun at Cua Dai beach.

Hoi An was a prosperous port from the 16th to 19th centuries trading with merchants from China, Japan, India, Indonesia and Europe who came to buy silk, spices and porcelain. Hoi An’s UNESCO World Heritage Old Quarter is beautifully preserved with ornate pagodas, antique trading houses and old tile-roofed shops. It is a rich architectural fusion of Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese and European styles. Many of the historic buildings lining the canals and pedestrian streets have been converted into art galleries, boutique restaurants, bars and cafes. Hoi An is surrounded by attractive countryside with traditional farming and fishing, and by sandy beaches with modern seaside resorts.

Hoian Tour

Breakfast will be served at the hotel and afterwards you'll explore the enchanting time-capsule town of Old Hoi An on a walking tour with your guide. Hoi An was a major sea port in Asia and it resulted in a fusion of style and culture that has been perfectly preserved. Wander traditional Chinese shops, luxurious French homes, and an ancient Japanese bridge. The town is home to silk markets, Vietnamese food stalls, and talented street performers-- all of which are sure to charm you. Then spend the afternoon further exploring the town on your own or head down to Cua Dai Beach to relax.

Hoian – Danang – Nha Trang

You'll have the morning for a leisurely breakfast before we come to collect you and take you to Danang to catch a flight to Nha Trang. When you arrive in Nha Trang we'll be there to pick you up and get you settled in your hotel. You'll have free time in the afternoon to relax or begin to see the sites of Nha Trang.
Nha Trang is relatively small and easy to find your way around and your guide can point you in the right direction regarding restaurants, bars and beach activities. If in doubt and you’re looking for a western style experience, head down to the classy Sailing Club restaurant, bar and nightclub on the beach. Run by an Australian, it’s a favourite among visitors.

Nha Trang Cruise Tour

We'll pick you up at your hotel and take you to Cua Da Port for a cruise around Nha Trang. The first stop will be to the beautiful Mieu Island where you can visit the Tri Nguyen Aquarium and see hundreds of colorul, strange, and other-worldy sea creatures that call the shores of Mieu home. The next stop will be Mun Island for snorkeling through a jungle of undersea coral with tropical fish that flash like silver. Our third stop will be either Mot, Tranh Beach, or “Mini Beach” island where you can lounge on the beach, rent a kayak, or go for a swim and we'll have a picnic lunch. Afterwards we'll make one last stop to a local fishing village. In the evening you can soak and relax at the Thap Ba Mud spa.

Nha Trang Free time

You have the day in Nha Trang to spend as you choose-- you can head to the beach for a day by the sea or to take part in water sports, go to the spa and mud baths, or explore the markets.

Nha Trang – Ho Chi Minh City

We'll pick you up after breakast and take you to the airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. After you arrive we'll get you to your hotel and then you can spend the evening exploring the bustling city of Ho Chi MInh.

Ho Chi MInh has many great restaurants with French, Vietnamese and international cuisines available. Ask your guide for personal recommendations.

Ho Chi Minh is a city that never sleeps and offers a plethora of great restaurants and bars catering to all tastes, from street food vendors to the rooftop bar at the Rex Hotel, where international correspondents covered the Vietnam War and where the U.S. military attaché’s press briefing was held daily and dubbed the “Five O’clock Follies”. Whatever your interests, be sure to ask your guide for personal recommendations.

Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels

We'll pick you up in the morning and take you to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a major part of the Vietnam-American War and a fascinating day trip-- explore the mysterious tunnels, find hidden doors and once-deadly traps. After lunch we'll go back to HCMC and spend the afternoon either visiting the War Remnants Museum or the Presidential Palace, whichever you prefer. Then stroll around the city's colonial streets in the evening to the Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street, Continental Hotel, Opera House and City Hall.

Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta – Ben Tre

08:30 am: The guide pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to Ben Tre.  On the way stop over at Mekong Restop for relaxing around 15 minutes.

10:30 am: Arrive at Ham Luong dock, you will take a boat and then cruise along Ham Luong River, a tributary to the Mekong River. The cool breeze from the river and lush tropical islands along its banks will immediately get you excited to explore all the great things ahead.

Arrive and visit various local workplaces to find many wonderful examples of how local people use ageless techniques to create their crafts, including activated charcoal, dried coconut, handy coconut husk brooms, and many family businesses using coir, or coconut fiber, to create amazing art. Cruise around the village roads by “Xe Lôi”, the local vehicle, which is a kind of motorized rickshaw. Kayak through the natural canals to get a unique experience of the peaceful beauty of the Mekong River as well as the rural life there. Having lunch at a local host house.

After lunch, you will have some time for relaxing before take a car back to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City around 4:30 pm. Drop you off at your hotel to finish your Vietnam tour in 2 weeks.

Vietnam Tour – Hanoi and Saigon Thanks to Asia Tour Advisor
Reviewed On: Oct 10, 2019SvenkatakrishnanIndia

We have visited Vietnam with 7 guests in total (family of kids, teen and elders). We had visited Hanoi and Saigon from May 24- 30th with total fun, relax and enjoyment. We were initially much worried about Indian Food especially Vegetarian food as we are hardcore Indian vegetarians. We had almost 3 rounds of discussions on food only with Ms. Xoa, Asia Tour Advisors as all Indian travel agents couldn’t assure us even vegetarian food at all places.

Ms. Xoa took the pain of suggssting all Indian restaurants for us. We were amazed with the choice and believe it we had both north and South Indian food. Even she had arranged vegetarian food for us in remote places like Mekong Delta and special arrangements made for us exclusively on the Cruise.

What else you need when you get your food of your choice where you don’t normally expect !! We just enjoyed the whole trip. She had arranged the hotels to stay nearby to the Markets and Indian restaurants within the radius of 1-2 kilometers. The local taxi (Grab) is very cheap to travel and we get Innova which can occupy 7 guests besides driver.

Ms.Xoa of Asia Tour Advisors arranged us everything once we land Hanoi, Vietnam till we depart from Saigon including local travel, sight seeing, Indian vegetarian food, stay and so on. When you get everything you want, the Tour will be in your memory for long time ! I am sure Vietnam Tour arranged by Asia Tour Advisors will be definitely of our tour to remember and cherish. Thanks

Small company. Big service
Reviewed On: Jul 21, 2018Jane DUnited Kingdom

We have just returned from the 14 day Vietnam Grand Tour with Asia Tour Advisors. We had read the reviews about this company on Tripadvisor and decided to trust what we read. So happy we did. We plumped for the 5 star hotels and Every one of them without exception was wonderful. The beds and pillows were superbly comfortable, the rooms spotless and the staff so attentive and friendly. The hotels were also perfectly positioned for exploring from. The homestay was an experience and not for the feint hearted but it was a memorable experience which will stay with us forever.

Secondly, the travel arrangements – smooth and efficient. We were never concerned that the drivers would be late or forget us. All internal flights were organised by the company and everything went without a hitch.

Thirdly, for us the fly in the ointment were the lunches. The first lunch we had in the indochine restaurant in Hanoi was lovely. Hot and flavoursome Sadly the rest of the time the lunches were not very nice an sometimes obviously reheated. They were served in what were clearly tourist restaurants with huge tables of tourists. Not really what we expected or liked. We have mentioned this to the company

Fourthly, the guides were exceptional, particularly Anh and Tien. We thoroughly enjoyed our travels through Vietnam with these lovely, intelligent, sociable young men.The driver Kit always provided us with very cold bottles of water which were very much appreciated. It was hot!

Lastly, The places we visited were great. Due to the 5 hour queue we did not see the ho Chi Minh museum as there was simply not enough time and we also decided not to see the tunnels due to the amount of travel time there and back. We understood that you didn’t actually go in the real tunnels just ones that had been mocked up for tourists
We are quite confident that we would not have seen half as much as we did or understood what we were seeing as well had we not taken this tour. The guides brought ancient Vietnam to life for us and we would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this company.
PS. You simply have to take a rickshaw ride through the market in Hue to the Imperial Citadel. We loved it

Amazing Vietnam Vacation
Reviewed On: May 08, 2015Bridget TheseiraSingapore

My family and I would like to thank you for all your help and cooperation on arranging our family vacation in Vietnam. Our trip was absolutely amazing and a dream come true event.
Our tour guides were very knowledge about the area, professional, kind, and attentive to our needs and wants. We completely appreciated our tour guides in their assistance at the airports and making sure we got to the airport on time for transfer.
During our trip our accommodations were very nice except for one location where we ended up with a room with a barking dog right outside our window.
The food provided during our trip was delicious and gave us a good sense of the Vietnamese cuisine.
I have and will continue to suggest you and your company to any of my family and friends who wish to travel to Vietnam and the surrounding countries. I know giving them your contact information will land them in good, caring hands.
Best regards,

This was a Grand Tour in every way

Well if you want to see Vietnam, I mean all of Vietnam, this is a great way of doing it. They get the balance between, big cities, cultural exploration and restful beaches just right. My father fought here in the war and this was quite a ride for me emotionally. He died last year and I always wanted to come with him. Sadly his memories prevented him from returning, which is a shame because I know he would have loved as well. The Vietnamese people were really kind wherever we went and made me feel humble. I honestly don’t know what my favorite part was, I enjoyed it all so much. The scenery at Halong Bay was magnificent, but then again so was the Mekong Delta. Hanoi was interesting and Saigon was exciting. Hoi An was very picturesque and Nha Trang was very restful. This was an epic journey and the most satisfying vacation.

We have just returned from the most amazing adventure of our lives. I have always wanted to go to Asia and my husband always wanted to go to Vietnam so this was the perfect trip for us. We booked a two week tour with a company called Asia Tour Advisors and off we went. We arrived in the north of the country at Hanoi, and spent two weeks being taken to one amazing place after another. The whole country is packed with beautiful scenery and lovely people. I adored it. The little pretty town of Hoi An, the giant Ho Chi Minh City with its motorbike madness and the unbelievably exciting Mekong Delta. We’re saving up for the next one now, we don’t know where yet, but it will definitely be in Southeast Asia again.
